Thank you Kim.
I would love to find the loop turning scissors.... I didn't catch the name of them. I love the way you teach us how to make the tabs!
Those are hemostats - like they use in surgery. Work very well. You can find similar ones on Amazon.
great video. My binding is already completed is there a method to add tabs once binding is already sewn? Thank you.
You would have to sew the on the backing separately so you would, unfortunately, see the raw edges. You might want to just unpick the binding where you want to add the tabs, stitch them on and then resew the binding.
How would you add them if you already put a binding on the hanging? Thank you. Excellent video. Thank you
Well, that's a bit different, Cheryl. You really need to put these on before you do this type of "binding". if you wanted to add these to a bound project, you would need to stitch the hanging tab to the back, so it wouldn't be quite so nice and you'd have to finish the raw edges of the hanging tabs.
Thank you
Great help thank you so much :)
Today is November 30th, what if you are making a large hanging quilt, where it needs to be quilted? I have enjoyed watching your videos very much!
You could add hanging tabs to the back of the project after it has been quilted. Not quite as tidy, but it works. I have also seen quilters stitch a tab to the back after the quilt is bound and then put a buttonhole in the front part of the tab and a button on the quilt so they can button it to a hanging rod.
@@Chatterboxquilts Thank you so much!
Great video, is there a video that show how to do the pillow binding please.
Hi Cathy: Thanks for watching. I do have a video on the pillowcase method for wall hangings and you can find it at learn.chatterboxquilts.com. It's a free course that I have on the Thinkific platform, that I use to host all my courses.
Chatterboxquilts thank you :-)
Chatterboxquilts do you have a pattern got the lovely heart wall hanging that you show? It is gorgeous :-)
Yes, you can find the pattern for Spring Hearts at www.chatterboxquilts.com/free-patterns/.
It would have helped if you had actually demonstrated a full wall hanging project using hanging tabs. It's difficult to understand on a finished project.
