Hmmm that didn’t occur to me that Cyberpunk doesn’t have boats or airplanes, interesting. It’s kind of silly how open world games purposefully restrict the player’s freedom, guess it’s a compromise of sorts because realistically these characters shouldn’t be able to fly to different countries. But Trevor and CJ can apparently, so they’re the most powerful characters in gaming I guess. Oh and Ciri. And Saints Row who?
if i'm not wrong, in the first versions of GTA 3 you can actually go to the border of the map, and everything turns into a glitchy mess and the game crashes, probably is because of this they put this 180 flip
In Scarface, you get eaten by the shark if you don't get out of the water in time. It's not because of boundaries. The game just doesn't want you in the water. Besides, you'd get all the coke wet.
Taint's Row could have fixed that with a alien abduction sequence or even monster pretty certain Mexican and native American legends could be used in a somewhat respectful yet funny way but a monster that has been killing people outside of the map I don't think it is horrible ideas just wrong IP
