I was born and raised in douglasville. Im 45 yrs old and im so amazed how much it has grown and changed. It use to be like mayberry until they built the mall and that seemed to change it all.

Stop Lying, Molly!!😮😮
My two friends were Murdered by thugs from the sheriff's office there!
April 20, 1980.
They were confronted for tossing a cigarette butt out a car window.
Four deputies beat them to death with the driver's tire iron.
The GBI investigated, but the sheriff's office tampered with the evidence, so the GBI got Nothing to work with...😢😢

Can you please when you get some time make a vid of the pros and cons of living in Villa Rica Ga? Thanks brother!
Pro: Small community with descent schools, stretches across 3 counties, Paulding side growing fast; Nice golf courses
Cons: Getting a lot of people moving here from Douglasville, not as many amenities, getting a little pricey for homes, no real downtown area
Ayyyeee...I live in Douglasville and I love it...not too close...not too far...good schools...Moved to GA 10 years ago and after living in 4 different cities this is where I settled...
Downtown Douglasville also has a lot of Black Owned businesses.
Also Austell is in both Cobb and Douglas County. Douglas County also covers the cities of Winston and parts of Villa Rica, Ga.
Thanks for sharing about the black owned businesses.
pack a gun when going thru democratic douglasville

I am a recent transplant to Georgia. You're videos showing the different areas have helped me decide where to live! Many thanks!
Very informative video. Thank you so much. Looking forward to moving there one day
Preparing to sell our FL home and are looking to move to the area. Greatly appreciate the info
Thank you! I recently moved here and am still learning about the city! 🧡
how's douglasville treating you?
Do you have kids? How are the schools? Do you like it so far
@@AllThingsMyTV
schools you said ? you should be worried about the crime . do your research. douglasville is in the top 10 worst county to live in ,in Georgia
I moved here 5 yrs ago. School System is very strict about tarties/absences. Traffic is nuts and the crime is out of control. I wish I never moved to Ga

I love your videos Douglasville is beautiful just my kind of living
Thank you for watching and commenting.
Thanks for the information on Douglasville 👍
I’m so glad it was beneficial to you.
Thank you for this video. Me and my family are considering moving to the GA area, but we want to live in the suburbs where we can have acreage. What other suburbs would you recommend? Other suburbs with more amenities and shopping such as Whole Foods, etc.
Douglasville will never get Whole Foods. Go to Marietta, they have Whole Foods.

Definitely reach out to me I offer a free consultation call to help you form a list of possible places to live in Georgia. All of my contact information is in the description of the video. Hope to hear from you soon.
@@raymondrileyjr will do thank you!
very informative. thanks for the thorough commentary
Your videos are so comprehensive. Very good! 👍🏿The place does look dated though.
Douglasville is home to a lot of data centers (people think they are warehouses but they are not). A lot of high tech jobs are located here in Douglasville as quiet as it is kept. Additionally, several movies and TV series were and still are being filmed in the area. To that point, there is now a major movie studio located in Douglasville where some of the latest movies are being produced. Crime has gone up a bit since I’ve been here BUT I associate that with rapid growth. The police need to expand and be more visible but it is not as bad as some try to make it out to be in the comments above. I’ve lived in Alpharetta and they had similar growth issues. I like it for its proximity to the airport and downtown.
What was that song?
Thank you for the video. I'm coming out to visit.
You’re welcome… thanks for watching. Enjoy yourself and try to immerse yourself in the local independent places (eateries, boutique shops) and talk to the locals about their opinions on the area. They are not bound by license law so they will give you the REAL 💯. As far as the song I don’t remember without rewatching. I also don’t supply a set list because I would like my videos to have a sense of exclusivity.
Nice job
Good video as usual 😊😊😊
Great Job!
Just sub love your channel and content brother 👍👍👍👍👍👍💯💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

@@raymondrileyjr Thanks for sharing do you have anymore spots similar like Douglasville ga Thanks in advance
@@badruddinzaid6697 I’d say go through the 30 suburb videos and see if you see any you like. Fairburn, Conyers, Covington are all fairly similar to Douglasville with the exception to the access for shopping volume especially for Covington.
@@raymondrileyjr OK 👌 thanks I will bro
I'm really surprised on the money they are putting into Douglasville, Lion Gate build a nice studio out here , Tyler Perry build a beautiful home in Douglasville. We just need to get the undesirables out and we will do fine.
Is there any way you can give some info on how the weather is there? Is it hot all year? Or do you get some cold winters also? I’m planning on moving from NY and I’m just getting tired of the cold
Any of the questions you asked can be answered in this video: ruclips.net/video/eW2uct1jTBo/видео.html
We moved here from NY. It is HOT HOT in the summer. Brutally. However, there is essentially no snow. The lifestyle is very different. You have to drive 30+ minutes to most events (thinking more like cultural events, museums, etc.) While there are independently owned restaurants and shops, there are so many terrible chains (Think Olive Garden, etc.) I wish they'd build up the downtown area he's filming from. It has so much potential but is largely sleepy (compared to NY -- even the NY burbs).
Yes my guy
Try going to Chapel Hill homes near the Lake around 450k, 550k and above
Chapel hill is a nice area. I’ve sold a few there and my clients have all been happy thus far.
Crime has risen sky high in the last 10 -15 years.
Yes it has in certain areas in Douglasville.
Great video, bro.
I'm going to guess that Austell comes from where I live St Austell in Cornwall, UK. although the pronunciation is different.
Will there be a Whole Foods and/or Trader Joe's coming to the area?
Not to my immediate knowledge.
Hi, next videos please add info about health and business or jobs dynamic.
I love it!
Is that you singing the song? 🔥
Look if you are really tapped in you know Douglasville is a very smart investment. You can be downtown in 25 minutes on a smooth day 34 on a slower day. You can be to southwest atlanta in 15 min. There are ALOT of businesses of all industries moving to douglasville. The homes he showed are nowhere near some of the best in the respective price points. The schools are improving every year. Its truly a diamond in the rough
I moved to Douglasville. What a mistake.😡😡😡 Crime and traffic. Glad I moved out.
WOW
Really…
Where did you move to where there wasn’t crime and traffic? I’m relocating.
What's the local supermarket and how far is the mall? What's the age range?
the mall sucks...rundown and a lot of crime. A lot of crime in the entire city.
@@rootsandwingsboutique omg are you serious

there is zero pros for living in douglasville ga.
💀
I know da Po Po don’t play!!!! 🤦🏽♀️
Lived there till 2016,sad city, would not suggest it!!
not safe at all.
A 60/30 splis not diverse LMAO!
What percentage of mixture of demographics do you consider “diverse”? Curious…
Douglasville is definitely diverse. You want to see what's not diverse? Look at Stone Mountain, East Point, Lithonia. Those areas are not diverse. As far as Douglasville goes, 2% is Asian, 8% is Latin American. 62% is African American and 26% is European American. Besides, there's different neighborhoods in Douglasville that's even more diverse then the suburb itself.
Thank you for what you do. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. Can you please cover Cartersville? I LOVE that place. An undiscovered jem. The people are soooo nice. Thank you in advance.
Thanks for watching.
NO it is NOT!!!!TRACTOR TRAILERS AMAZON AND ADDED TRAFFIC LOTS OF DOLLAR STORES AND SERVICE STATIONS NO QUALITY STORES(TRADERS JOE, WHOLE FOODS etc.
And lately the only thing we get are warehouses...
