    Relocated to Fayetteville from Chicago (born and raised), and it was the BEST MOVE! Fayetteville offers a town and country feel. Lots of events in the Town Square )as you refer to as County offices), and lots of new businesses, culture, resident construction sites, restaurants and shopping-- commercial and mom/pop! As an African American, it’s a great diverse community, that offers more than just blacks, but a relevant mix of all races. Fayetteville is pricy to live in, which is expected, since there is government, commercial spaces, with very few apartments and lots of large and mid-sized single family homes. It is congested since it started out as a small town- and growing with traffic, property and businesses.
    Yes… We LOVE it here! Everyone is friendly, all we need is in our community, and demographic mix is DIVERSE! We plan to be here long-term. Understanding the history, and the population of this growing community would have give a better perspective. You’ll have to visit to understand… because Fayetteville is not just about the Pavilion 😝it’s about PROGRESS!

      Hey @Know_Clarity. Im thinking of moving to Fayetteville, Ga as well. So, its a cool feel for African Americans? I don't want to move to a city especially lower south region and have more issues than where I'm coming from, you know?

    • @Know_Clarity
      @Know_Clarity 10 месяцев назад +1

      @@Erika-nb6fk definitely cool. It’s the furthest south you can go south of ATL; that is experiencing diversity at a positive pace. Yes, things are changing for us and given the price you pay to live in Fayetteville, everything is about being mature and pleasant. It is very safe, town-country, and close to so much! About to loose a lot of forestry but #Trilla Studios and it’s community is a plus! We love it, the Pavillion, AND being moments from Peachtree City! Hope to see you soon!

    Great video...I have lived in Fayetteville nine years. I do have to travel to the North side or Peachtree City for the fine dining experiences and social events that interest me. If you are hungry...many sit down eateries close early. I feel very comfortable living here. The new city park is a great place to congregate. You must have a vehicle to get around. There is no public transportation in Fayetteville. It's a more slower pace.

    Fayetteville is about to annex 100's of forested acres right near Trilith, in the middle of housing developments and schools. The land has been earmarked for data centers (the Cloud). These are large warehouses filled with servers and surrounded by high security fences and lighting. The amount of electricity and water needed is enormous and will be detrimental to Fayetteville's infrastructure. The number of jobs to be created is minimal. The negative impact on the environment and wildlife is frightening. Depending on the architecture of the centers, they can be extremely loud all day and night. Development will take 10 years or more so construction vehicles will be clogging our roads. Do your homework before you move to Fayette County. The Fayette County Development Authority can make secret deals with big business and then direct elected officials to annex and rezone...no questions allowed. Actually, this is now common practice throughout Georgia. Lots of angry citizens in Social Circle, GA, too! Look up RIVIAN Opposition Group.

    Yes; Fayetteville, GA! One of my favorite cities in the state and another place to consider moving to when I come back. I really love what they've done to create more inclusion and genuinely welcome diversity (you touched on that)! I just wish there was easier access to the highway. You're right, it's a bit of a drive to get into the big city. UGH...😌
    Your honest perspective on Clayton County is greatly appreciated. It's so disappointing and disheartening to see just how much things have continuously spiraled out of control. Sadly, it's been going on for years. They have a LOT of rebounding to do... SMH
    Thanks again for your great videos! You're really helping me get reacclimated with my hometown...💝💝💝

    thank you so much for this video my family is thinking of relocating to Fayetteville and I definitely love how you covered so much without dragging things on. the part I definitely liked was that you had more pros than cons to living there and I definitely liked that they are best ranked for schools and have a low crime rate. definitely hubby and I aren't huge on the nightlife were more homebodies with the occasional getting out when we can so this town sounds perfect. we do have family in Florida which will be like a 3hr drive from Fayetteville and I'm not much of a big freeway or interstate driver so I definitely will have to get use to that but overall thank you so much for this informative video Raymond.

      Also you mentioned that everything is right in the area is that grocery stores or outlets? And are there any fun places within Fayetteville to do. We have four kiddos almost 15, 13, 9 and 5 and we’re currently in WA state so we’re excited for the new change but also hope for fun things to do and I definitely prefer not to have to drive far for stores and what not.

      Thank you for watching. I will definitely add that topic to my content board. It's definitely a great topic. Just to give you a right-off-the-cuff answer, I'd say anywhere near the Silver Comet Trail which would include the following cities (Smyrna, Mableton, Powder Springs, Hiram, and Dallas). What I like about the Silver Comet Trail is the fact that it's super established and well-traveled. You can even connect with other trails and go all the way to the Georgia/Alabama western state lines if you want. Here's a link to see the map: www.silvercometga.com/silver-comet-map/silver-comet-map.shtml

And also do you know of any builders integrating EV chargers in their homes in communities you focus on?

    We love Fayetteville. We have lived here 27 years. Although we are not happy about them wanting to clear 400+ acres of trees and build a data center. We already have Trillith Studio as a nearby neighbor. Which we do not mind. But this is over the top too much for our small community.

    First time seeing your video. I was 5 y.o. when I moved to Fayetteville. I remember the Andy Griffith one cell jailhouse in the 70s and we had a deputy named Barney 😂. I remember the night someone bombed THAT white courthouse behind you. We felt it inside our homes when it exploded. I graduated from Fayette Co. High School, Go Tigers! I was there when the McDonald's was buil and the kids would gather and hangout there. We would get ran off by the cops. Then we'd go have a bonfire in a nice farmers field all night 😊, the good ole days. I used to walk to the old Jr. high. It used to be a nice place until police corruption and crime increased. Evander Holyfields home.

    No Fayetteville is nothing like it was. Crime has went up. Traffic is terrible. Clayton Co has took over North Fayette with the crime and drugs. The schools have drop in the score rating.. The city just allow over 5 liquor stores to open . I guess they will start letting in more pawn shops buy here pay here car lots along with check cashing stores. Fayetteville is the new Riverdale. Sad very sad. But I guess you can't stop progress and with progress comes crime and with crime comes a drop in property values.
