Thank you Tristan & Belén for this amazing Factory Tour Series!! I learned so much from my favorite companies and I have come to love them even more now! It’s very interesting to get a behind the scenes view of what goes on and how the products we use on a daily basis are produced, tested, and repaired. You guys did a very impressive job throughout..from the videography, to the choice of music, to the questions that were asked and the experience that was portrait to us viewers 😍 Thank you so much again for this series! Wish you two all the best for your future adventures and hopefully we can meet up on our bikes one day, somewhere around the world 🌎
Hey team, loved this one, thanks! I'd love to see a full review on the Outback, there's not many around. I'd particularly love to hear if it can perform ok as an everyday mountain bike?
Hoping to upload that review early next year as I've been wanting to make one once we completed 1 year on the Outbacks. I can already say that it will perform as an everyday hardtail as long as you get the suspension fork with it!
I don't understand why they paint the frame. If they buy the frame from Taiwan, why not to buy ready frame. Maybe the reason is Tax breaks in the European Union. If the frame fully produced in Taiwan they have to pay higher tax. There is no different if the bike assembled completely by one person or by 10 persons in 10 different station. The result is the same. But you are good marketing man:).
Minimise potential chips and scratches to the frame, also more environmentally friendly because you can use less plastic wrapping for protection on transport inside shipping containers, also the ability to offer custumers custom colours, check quality of weldings and in case a frsme get bend on transport can be manipulated back to alignment. 😉
Your "explanation" is great bullshit. The reason is only tax. When the frame is fully made in Taiwan, It's considered as "Made in Taiwan" and not made in Germany. Anyway the price they want for their bicycle is also big bullshit. It should be at least 33% less.
Schade, dass man mittlerweile Videos in englisch produziert. Wir sind aber in Deutschland. Es wäre auch netter, wenn man denn Untertitel in der Landessprache anbietet.. Dies wäre höflicher.
Schade marmelade. We don't speak sufficient German, neither do we have the time to add subtitles for other languages. But I do hope you enjoyed the video!
9:50 Shouldn't he be wearing safety eyewear or something? These spray/fumes can't be completely harmless I guess. I mean I'm not criticizing. Just concerned.
