- I finally have the 92 put together the way I want it for now. I take the car trailer into town and pick up my brothers Suburban to bring home for new head gaskets. I Also run down to a friend's house to grab an axle for an upcoming project and we end the day at a bullring practice.

I love how that 454 can tow a trailer with ease!
Those OBS TBI Chevy trucks were the best. Simple, reliable, easy to repair. The trucks today are plastic throw away overpriced electrical junk.
I love the 1988-1998 GMT400 platform. That 454 big block sounds awesome!

I have the same truck, just a '97 with an auto. The 4L80e is a good transmission, but I'm definitely jealous of your 5 speed!
Maybe you can teach me alot about that truck I got a 90 chevy 2500 4x4 5.7 v8. I just seen this video and hope too see alot of content.

Brah….let your kid out of the booster seat….any figure on mpg? I’m getting a 90 3500 454 Dually but it’s got a th400 so I was thinking it would be worth swapping the trans out
Booster is still required in Colorado for her age/ height and weight. I get 14 empty and have been getting 10 towing
@@gatewaygarage that’s not bad considering it’s a 30year old truck with a 454…my daughter is 10 this year and if a cop asks her height or age then she will be (the legal height) and if they think their gonna measure her Hieght in the side of the freeway I’m going to jail for ass kicking an officer
@@oddlyrightoddlyright2475 I'm with ya. I think she perfers it actually because she can see over the dash and hang her arm out the window. She can drive my other truck and she pulls a trailer while I'm picking bales.
