I had mine packed up and ready to return due to the dumpster fire instructions giving me an anxiety attack. But after watching this I decided to give it another go. It’s currently heating up for the first time on the patio. Bravo sir, bravo.
OMG, thank you so much for this video! I was able to setup entire thing by myself with some assistance from my kids. the directions gave me anxiety & I was about to return it. haha. thank you!
I am totally blind, and I’ve been trying to figure this out. I wish there was a way you could get in touch with me because I’d really like some verbal instruction.
Your instructions were clear and understandable. Thank you. When I tried to follow the "written" directions, I did not understand a thing. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Now I can actually use it!
This is an awesome video. I wish I had it before I set mine up. It would have saved me a ton of time. Amazing how you did all of that with one hand. Thanks a million.
Thank you for this video. I got mine from Costco and the instructions that came with it is not very good at all, but you made it easy with your video Thank you!
Actually to fully deflate it there is a black adapter that attaches in between the airpump and the hose it reverses the air flow and just like you inflated it the air pumps out.
Thank you so much for your instructions. You seem like a very patient person. The instructions that came with mine are already in the trash! 😊 Thank you again!
A year after posting and you are still saving people 😂 me included 😂😂 I saw 5 pipes and 4 holes and went shoot now what but you totally saved my behind. ❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much for the video, I was a little worried about setting the hottub up by myself with limited instructions. But I was able to after watching, thanks again.
You saved me such a headache trying to figure out those vague instructions!! I could not figure out what to do with that white inflatable thing that I kept trying to put on the bottom as a cushion. LOL. That company should hire you cause you got this. Thanks for sharing. P.S. Now it's all good!!!
Omg, this video saved me SO much time, thank you!!! I was frustrated in 5 minutes after reading through the worthless instructions. You saved the day!! One question, did you ever find out if you can use Epsom salts and if so, what did you use to keep bacteria from growing? I want to limit the chemical use in mine if possible. Thanks again!! ❤
Thanks for the video man, bought an inflatable hot tub this year and the instructions were garbage, yes once you get it inflated you're good but guess what..... The inflation parts are ridiculous AND they give you weird extra inflation parts which don't even fit the tub to add confusion --- Specifically talking about the Honolulu Saluspa. Anyway, thanks again. :D
The inflatable part of the cover is a good idea but designed poorly and prone to leakage. The one that came with mine wouldn't stay inflated for 48 hours, but there are aftermarket replacements that are considerably better, staying inflated much much longer. They do still appear to leak but significantly slower to where I only have to refill maybe ~once a month so far whereas the one that came with the SaluSpa wouldn't even stay inflated for 2 days.
sweet video bro - thanks! appears that red rubber washer in the air intake is missing on this saluspa here. any chance u can measure that washer? does that washer sit inside a groove in the inlet tub side? thanks! how did the epsom salts work out?
Hope your salmon was good lol. THANK YOU! Those directions we’re crap; I couldn’t have assembled mine without you. Only thing I would’ve done differently would be inflate the cover first or before you fully in the spa. That way you don’t have to hook up all the connections again
So has your liner failed yet? Bought mine in Jan 2022. There is two fittings inside the liner that have a really crappy tube that cracks and crumbles. When it fails the liner deflates and fills with water.
I’m wondering if everyone run has a weird air bubble on the floor of the tub. We had one that the bubble got pretty bad, so we exchanged it and got a new one. Same thing. Last time it leaked water into the heater unit and started making a weird noise.
We cant get ours to inflate. Does it have to be a certain temperature for it to inflate? The temp. says it 12 degrees celsius when it was initially plugged in.
You can open it up and put chlorine tablets inside to dissolve instead of having to top up with chlorine granules constantly. Has a dial on it you can have slow release or open more for bigger release.
What is that extra thing at the top inside the hot tub? Sits above the waterline and no hookup on the outside? Ours just started losing air through that and the instructions dont say what it is, nothing online says what it is either
How often do you change water? Do you leave the hot tub running at all times, even not in use? Should I turn it off if I only use in the weekends F-Sun? Thanks
I turn it on 7 hours before I plane to use it. I don't keep it running all the time. I will use it the whole weekend and a few times throughout the week. It cools down after a few hours and once it gets down to the 70s it takes about 7 hours to fill. I change the water about every two weeks and try not to use much chemicals
If you use the chemical kit then you don't have to change water for upto 3 months or more. I fill bottom with cold n then rest with hot water saves on electricity when heating up.
Bro, are you from Louisville?? I swear we know each other. Does dressing up in a chicken costume ring any bells?? Anyways…thank you for this excellently helpful video! Way better than the instructions it came with! I’m setting mine up now! ❤
I don't know if anyone else has this problem but my one way air valve did not come with ridges on both sides. I'm not sure if it has to do with a different model or if it was a factor defect. I'm unable to figure out how to get the air valve closed once it's inflated.
can anyone tell me what the top oval filter / drain thing is above the filter, chemical dispenser. Looks like it would be a high level drain... but where does it go!?
@@gotembro that probably makes it pull more power instead of keeping at a lower temp and turning it up when you need it. It expends more energy to heat it from cold.
This video is an absolute lifesaver, thank you. The instructions that came with the spa are terrible
Very happy to help:)
I know right horrible this was so helpful
The instructions included are absolute garbage. Saluspa needs to hire a graphic designer to revamp their manuals. Just absolute garbage instructions.
so bad with the instructions.
Great job man. I read the useless manual and still felt intimidated. Your instructions were very clear and made it so simple. Thanks so much!
I'm happy I helped!

God I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who looked at the instructions and be like “what the hell is this? Cave man drawing instructions?”
THANK YOU FOR THIS…us ladies sure appreciate this!!
I couldn’t find my instructions, but you hit everything I needed to know. I was completely lost in the sauce
Omg you saved me today. Spa is up a running. I’m so glad there are people who like to make those videos. Thank u. Much needed
Thank you so much. This is the best video I've watched trying to inflate our hot tub.

Thanks I just got one you are very helpful
This is the best video I have come across… Wish I would have seen this before I put mines together…
Thank you! I tried to make it as clear as possible. Directions were poorly written

Thank You so much!!! The instructions suck donkeys. Worst I have ever seen. You are a life saver. How do I send you a gratuity??.
Of course, you would NEVER actually use a hot tub indoors because the high humidity it generates would lead to a terrible indoor toxic mold problem.
Hey Brother fantastic video thank you for it! Any chance of when you will do a chemical video? I just started mine today !
I am super interested in the epsom salt idea.
How long does it take to heat up?
sweet video bro - thanks! appears that red rubber washer in the air intake is missing on this saluspa here. any chance u can measure that washer? does that washer sit inside a groove in the inlet tub side? thanks!
how did the epsom salts work out?
Thank you so much! Very helpful. Did you ever have any issues with setting up your tub inside your home? Any leaking/floor issues?
what a great video, thanks! we just bought the Laguna and it's still in the box. How long is the extension cord and what to do if it is too short?
You can buy a thick gauge extension cable from Lowe's. Make sure it's good quality
Thank you so much for the video! It was very helpful! How is the Epsom salt going? Could you please give me some more info on that?
I'm curious about this too. Please give us feedback. Thank you.

What is the first thing on the top of the filter and where the bromine goes, there’s a plastic on top and i don’t know what’s that for.
I’m wondering if everyone run has a weird air bubble on the floor of the tub. We had one that the bubble got pretty bad, so we exchanged it and got a new one. Same thing. Last time it leaked water into the heater unit and started making a weird noise.
Been reading comments..where did you get the side insulator that the hot tub sits in
How did this work out inside the house?? I put mine in my garage. It’s a single car garage and I started to question the steam and moisture.. lol
How do you know when inflation is complete? I. Other words, how firm should it be?
I second this question
I recommend outside, if you not home and it leaks, you gonna cry. Also, the water does evaporate into your house not a good thing!
We cant get ours to inflate. Does it have to be a certain temperature for it to inflate? The temp. says it 12 degrees celsius when it was initially plugged in.
What is that little plastic piece above the chemical piece?
what is the upper vent or? that is above the water input (inside the tub) about where the water line is?
You can open it up and put chlorine tablets inside to dissolve instead of having to top up with chlorine granules constantly. Has a dial on it you can have slow release or open more for bigger release.
Epsom salts in hot tub. Does this work?
You said lubricate the bands, what did you use? Thanks!!
You can use a cooking oil, just not too much just enough to get it moist that way it doesn't have any micro tears
YOu said something about using epson salt.. can you explain Please and Thank you!
Should there be water coming from the large port in the back the air port
What is that extra thing at the top inside the hot tub? Sits above the waterline and no hookup on the outside? Ours just started losing air through that and the instructions dont say what it is, nothing online says what it is either

what is that gray oval thing above the chem connect?
The only thing that I can add is if you know how...
You can get a jump-start on the water temp by using a hose attached to your hot water heater.
Bro, are you from Louisville?? I swear we know each other. Does dressing up in a chicken costume ring any bells??
Anyways…thank you for this excellently helpful video! Way better than the instructions it came with! I’m setting mine up now! ❤

by any chance is there a link where we get everything it did not give me anything but the hot tub
Does the bottom inflate also?
Thanks. Mi heater is slow warning the water
Enjoy!!
*warming
can anyone tell me what the top oval filter / drain thing is above the filter, chemical dispenser. Looks like it would be a high level drain... but where does it go!?
It's a fitting with a tube that goes down to another fitting above the pump inlet.
You can put it inside your house?
How do you know when it's finished filling with air?
Great vid. Mine didn’t come with instructions.
What about reinflating the floor part???
So my lid is leaking air and I can’t seem to find the part number for it and I need a new cover
Anyone know how this compares to the Madrid model?
i hope your salmon was good buddy 👍
Thanks 😊
Well, That ended abruptly...
You NEVER said how long it takes to heat up. 🤔
Other than that, great video.
takes about 6-8 hours, my apologies!
I was looking in the comment section to see how long it took!!!! Thank you!
I’ve had my heat on for over an hour and it has risen a single degree. This is take forever lol.
Yup, I hate that you have to wait so long for such a small tub 😭 If I only knew that.
@@ferenzi7741 just now seeing this reply, it took 14 hours for mine to get to 90° & another 4 to get to 100°
How much power per month you think is running you
Not too big of difference. I only turn it on 7 hours before I plan to use it. Probably about 30-50 a month
@@ferenzi7741 Dang mine in CA cost me 130 per month and I off the heater and do the same before i use it
@@gotembro that probably makes it pull more power instead of keeping at a lower temp and turning it up when you need it. It expends more energy to heat it from cold.
Looked online that epsom salt isn’t good for hot tubs can anyone verify?
i have a lazy spa and its all the same parts and pump.
I have one, the same but never really hot the water 💧
Fill bottom with cold then rest with hot water saves on using the heater for heating the water up so less electricity.
Please tell me you said this up in your kitchen for demonstration purposes only
What is the attachment inside the hottub that is up above everything else
I'm hoping someone answers you, because we were just trying to figure that out too.
I've had it set to 104° since I set it up yesterday and it's still 82°...is it broken?
Try shutting off and turning back on the pump and making sure there is flow going through the pump and no clogs at the filter
@@ferenzi7741 it's finally at 104°...Thx
Wait, you’re using it in your kitchen? Does your landlord know lol? Can you explain the use of Epsom salts please? Won’t it degrade the plastic?
How long does it take to heat up??
Hour and half
Thank you so much for this bro the Manuel is so useless and hard to understand
Can I buy only the inflatable hot tub
why is it in your house?
Where is thr chemical video?
I didn't get a chance yet. I'll try to do it soon!
@@ferenzi7741 kool man..lmk!!
My hose doesn't want to stay in
Skipped the step telling where the solid white inflatable piece goes.
It goes inside the cover
Very useful video but those nails man 🤮
I'm a mechanic it's very difficult to keep them clean, 80 hour weeks minimum
Wash your hands
What do you mean?
Why? His hands in his home
Thank you so much. This is the best video I've watched trying to inflate our hot tub.
