Hey guys, ever considered making a new world for the Gents vs Lads episodes. Both groups could build 1 house each and get a tower of pimps when they win. It would also free up the world and make it less laggy. Love the series guys, keep it up.

The ending to this was perfect.
They didn't want monsters in the let's play, but they're actually the best clue because they aggro on other players through one-block walls -- case in point, ray finding gavin

eh, this lets play seemed kinda uneventful, and the whole pickaxe issue was a thing, since the rules were kinda weird. it wasnt a bad video, there were just a lot of better episodes
It was average. They should've set it up where both sides cannot interact at all. So it's a race instead of PVP.

Dumbest rule in that game, I think Geoff literally made it just so he could be annoying the entire time. "Yeah let me run to your side of the map and die with all the equipment and not take any consequences so you have to waste your time not only keeping me out of your area but picking up my shit and giving it back to me so I can run back into your territory and make you waste more time killing me without any consequence on my part."
It really should have been free dibs on equips as long as they fell on your side, or the equipment on said dead person should have been out of play for a certain amount of time. SOMETHING would have made it easier on the lads, because after a while, they literally had to send everyone to guard their last gold block, because trying to find their own pickaxe would have just ended the game faster via lack of defensive power.
I know they'll read this or something similar to this and call me/others out, but honestly this is the first time I've ever been annoyed at a Let's Play. It was entertaining, no doubt, but the rules stayed in favor of whomever got a pickaxe first. Seeing as how fucking massive the goddamn map was, I didn't see the Lads finding a pickaxe at any point after Jack found theirs.
All in all I hope there's a rematch one day where the rules are changed to be less bullshit, the blocks are actually placed in the map, and that Michael finds Kerry before he leaves for lunch and gives him a slap on the boobs. Though Kerry is cute so only give him enough bruises to last a day. ;P

But it made sense. When Gavin had the sword, they could've just taken the pickaxe and won, which is unfair. If anything, they shouldn't have been able to even fight each other and have it just as a race.
So, the AH guys give us what is probably their best Let's Play: Minecraft video in a while and people are bitching because they didn't play it the way they wanted them to? How about you stay up for hours on end building a Let's Play, gather your friends around and play it with them the way you want, record it, post it on RUclips and just feel the hatred roll in as everyone tells you that you're a cheat/screenlooker/bully/asshole/annoying so on and so on, and then come back and comment on a AH video.
It's kinda dumb how they have to give the pock axe back to Geoff everytime they kill him :/

When Geoff picked at the snow and was breaking the pickaxe, that got a little under my skin. But then I remembered the good ole days of AH where Geoff did that all the time, and I was nostalgic. AH never changes, and we love them for it.
I miss the only 4 people Minecraft Lets plays when you could actually here them without all screaming

Normally I root for the Lads (not that I have anything against the Gents) but this is one time where I'm totally fine with the Gents winning. I mean, the Lads beat them most of the time anyway, and honestly I was waiting for Jack or Ryan to just take the gold from Geoff and place it for him since he was being overly cautious and wouldn't do it. Way to wrap up the game right at the hour mark, Ryan.
This let's play was good until it was if you kill me then I get to keep my stuff. You should be on your opponents side at your own risk so if you die with a pick you have to kill them to get it back

Keeping axe rule is stupid. Made the game boring. It means they can hide their gold blocks and don;t have to carry them which just dulled the whole thing down.
If AH ever did decide to cancel the Minecraft LPs, I think this comment section alone would be justification enough.

***** They don't have to give it up. They lost it in a fight. They could just as easily steal it back or try and find the other one. It's unfair that just because the lads were unlucky (and finding the pickaxe is almost completely a matter of luck) they are at a huge disadvantage for the rest of the game. They were able to kill Geoff, and so they should be rewarded for that. Geoff got lucky and found a pickaxe, fair enough, but why does that mean he's entitled to it for the rest of the game?

I enjoyed this lets play. Yes, maybe there were rules that didn't work so well, like the pickaxe thing, but really, who cares? Most people would agree that it was fun to watch and if you didn't, what did you really lose? An hour of your time maximum? Not a big deal. The problem I have with a lot of the fans of AH is that they feel entitled to these videos. We aren't. We shouldn't expect perfect lets plays. The majority of us don't pay for them, we watch for free. The guys don't have to spend their time making these for us. I'm certain they could get way better paid jobs but they choose to work for Rooster Teeth instead. We should be grateful that they work so hard making all these videos every day of the week, filming, editing, coming up with ideas. They don't deserve the bitching they get when some people don't like something about a video. A lot of the "fans" in the comments here really need to grow up and stop whining.

I have a feeling they would want to avoid using hellbound, and they tend to add X to titles that are updated versions of previous games (CTTX, multiple GTA let's plays). They also sometimes have connection problems when they use the Nether.

Shittiest overview when Geoff died and dropped all the blocks. You could even see it drop into the water, like, use them eyes!

it was CTT X all over again.
Geoff was trying for ages to erect the tower and Ryan gets it and does it immediately.
It's all about timing. The Lads had their eyes on Geoff nearly the entire time. But when Geoff died with the 4 pieces chaos ensued allowing Ryan to get by.
Please don't do a snowbound 2. That was shit.

What a load of BS. At least being able to take things would have promoted teamplay, because you'd want to protect the guy with it when you invade, and not just this (first to find the pickaxe wins, run over to their side, because there's no penalty or risk involved) bollocks.

They should have had a rule about running while having the pickaxe or using it as a weapon. Don't use it as a weapon and you can't run with it unless you have a gold block.
Those rules would give a bigger downside to dying with the pickaxe and promote the idea of being sneakier with it and also not being able to just kill your way to victory because you deal more damage.
SkippityBooBop It IS the main complaint, whoever finds the pickaxe first immediately has a ridiculous advantage. The other team has to devote at least 1 other player to prevent the pickaxe user from just coming in and taking the gold, making them have far less time to find their pickaxe. Not the mention that they had to basically hand deliver the stupid thing back to Geoff every time he inconsequentially went to steal their gold, allowing him to just continue to walk right in and look for it again.
I love how Ryan said that both Gavin or Michael had the gold and they didn't catch the lie.
He said Michael must have it when Gavin died and didn't drop anything.
