I love the idea of the first challenge. Kerry just roboticly counting down while Ryan slowly puts on armor and takes out a sword and everyone else not understanding whats going on untill there are like 20 seconds left.
Jack: "How are the chickens surviving the fall!!??

And on the day when the Mad King made Animals rain from the sky was the day the entire world bowed to their new king. Some out of respect, many out of fear. None dared to raise a finger against him or else they would be sentenced to Edgar, a punishment worse than death. Where you are stripped of your name, family ties, and all dignity, and given the name "Edgar" and forced to live out the rest of your days in a cramped prison under The Mad King's home with other violators of the King's cruel reign.
There are no sanctuaries, there are no civilians. You have two choices: Surrender, or Fall.

there's too much to comment on in just the first twenty minutes of this let's play. the fact that Ryans first round is him murdering everyone. how perfect Kerry's voice is for the deadly countdown. rays scream of absolute terror when Ryan found him. It took me entirely too long to realize that the lava Gavin fell into this episode is the same lava he dumped there during the first King Ryan when he didn't need it anymore, and that it just waited there for 28 episodes.

@@RvrStyxRasputin Literally the same clip. Jack said they are removing videos to get rid of him, and then Michael said that they can't get rid of all the videos with him because he's in so many, but that they are taking down anything that looks bad in hindsight
surprised at how many people complain about this being a reused let's play. each king has the others perform different tasks and they are usually, this one especially, really unique and creative. why not have a collection of smaller ideas that are too short for a let's play or things to do and stick them in a video? i love the king LPs, keep em coming please!
Hmm, there's something odd about complaining that a LP is being reused within a series now 89 episodes long. King episodes are essentially scaled down versions of most of the other minecraft LPs.
I like the king LPs too, would have been nice if this one was a bit longer though (especially since it's more than a 1 parter!)
I always get excited when a King video comes around. Even just rewatchong them I get giddy when a King episode's next on the playlist.

despite everyone saying this episode was lacking, i thought it was quite entertaining and one of their best "King" episodes.

Ryan's games are by far the most impressive I've seen in the King series. He actually *built* games.
To be fair, Geoff gave him a copy of Achievement City to actually make challenges about a week and a half in advance. He could literally make things on his own time and playtest them. Didn't do that with anyone else.

As much as I'd hope Geoff would do that with the other guys, I can only really see Geoff, Ryan and maybe Gavin actually being able to utilize it much.
But who knows. Ray had some interesting games if I remember properly.

Fun Fact: The lava that Gavin fell in at 19:20 was placed by him in episode 61 at 19:25. Coincidentally, it was during the first reign of Ryan and it occurred right after a round finished.

The games were unbalanced, unfair, and disorganized. The players kept on quitting or breaking the rules out of spite. Kerry was in it.
And I loved every second of it.

So long as Edgar remains in that hole, Achievement City will be safe. If all else fails...well...at least there's Plan G.
OH GOD! Geoff and Gavin had foreseen the day Edgar would rise up and destroy Achievement City. So In their wisdom they came up with Plan G. But only one person can free Edgar and bring doom to all of Achievement City and his name.... Mogar The Terrible! DUN DUN DUN!!!
Technically Ray won at the end, the rules stated you had to go up to Ryan and say who you killed.. Ray was the only person doing that

Ryan never showed disdain for the others just shouting it out though, and to paraphrase him, he's the mad king and he can do whatever the fuck he wants. He was pleased with Mogar's bloodlust, and so Mogar won.
For all that he ended up being, this was still a good video. Lads, Gents, before this video inevitably gets killed to erase him from RT: It was an honor watching these with you.

It's hilarious to see the hate comments literally proving the hunters point when they cry over stupid reason just to hate the video. And then let their jokes about the stupid comments fly over their head and still comment on how Ryan cheated. I mean jack I think literally said something around the lines of the commenters not liking him changing the rules and stuff. And Ryan was like f them I'm the king I do what I want. SERIOUSLY he literally just said they don't care ok the comments aren't helping. But they are hilarious I'll give you that.
