How to remove Volvo v50 rear bumper in 5 minutes

You don't need to remove the wheels and the whole plastic cover. Only unscrew the plastic on the side of the bumper with a simple T25 screwdriver manually. No need an impact driver lol. I repeat no wheels have to be removed and only 5 or 6 T25 screws on each side of the bumper. No jackstands needed either.

Yes, I used a short bit and ratchet. No inner fender removal or wheel.

Yes you are right, you dont have to remove the wheel and the complete arch. You can use shorter bit and only remove the arch screws attached to the bumper

Well i dont know how to remove it yet but as far as i know you dont need to remove the hitch. You can simply lift the bumper upwards.
If you can then you can simple remove the hook, look for screws on the hitch
