I really like this. I’m not a big fan of the interior colors. It is better than the old RV brown, but just by a hair. I agree with Andrea about the carpet on the slide. With the plethora of drawers in there, take out the two under the cooktop and give me an oven please. I really dislike microwave/convection combos. There are a few of us that don’t use a microwave, I don’t even own one. Love that TV in the living room disappears and I’m left with a very nice fireplace. I usually take 2-4 grandchildren with me, so all the space is great. The bunk over the cab is plenty big for my littles. I would opt for a regular sofa over theater seats, personal preference. Love all the storage and counter top space, and unlike most, I like having a dinette. We are on the smaller side and could easily fit 6 comfortably for meals and games. Overall, this is a winner!
Hi Matt and Andrea! This is very nice. I don’t like the not having a power reel and carpet in the slides. My likes are the room you have when slides are out, nice pantry and it comes with washer and dryer and 1 1/2 baths. Thank you Matt and Andrea!
That was such a spacious motorhome! Even though they looked lovely, i didn’t like the stove & sink top covers. Especially in the kitchen where you’re likely to have dirty slippery hands, they were way too heavy and a broken foot waiting to happen. I agree with Andrea not liking that weird carpeted slide out. And the wood tone not being quite right. Apart from that, I wouldn’t be embarrassed driving that into a campground. 👍🏼
I really like this RV. I do wish it had a power cord reel and dishwasher. They could be installed after market I guess. I really like the decor it is different from the 'norm' of the RV industry
Andrea, you stole my heart when Matt said, "Can I get a Roll Tide?"🤮 & you came back with the "War Eagle" 🐅 🦅 Beautiful coach & much love to you both! 🧡💙
Great Review! Fully agree with your Likes and Dislikes. Unfortunately, Tiffin has not provided an electric step cover on their lower price diesel models and sadly, they still do not offer the option of having an electric cord wheel with their lower price units. Agree, the Washer and Dryer is in a terrible location, and the kitchen can use a pantry in that location. The full bath needs to be redesigned for a better shower and to locate the Washer & Dryer in that area. Best, Steve from Western Mass.
I love the storage in this RV and the space specially in the bedroom .🎉 but like some others I wish they offered a different table. I always appreciate a second bathroom or a half a bathroom that’s so nobody has to cross into my personal space of the bedroom.
Does the Byway even have a step cover? The Allegro 340 that Byway replaced did not. That could be a don't buy problem . Other wise this is an amazing diesel pusher. Love it
I love the new tiffin but I do have some dislikes one is the tv it looks small I’m sure they could have put a bigger tv in there it had the space. The second dislike is the gas stove it should have been an electric stove like the Newmar’s. But I love the RV.
Beautiful big boy!!! Too big for me but maybe some day, you never know!!! I almost thought it had an oven!!!! LoL 😆 Great Job guys!!!! Have a great day!!!!
I like this Tiffen. A very nice “entry level “ diesel, if you can call $330K entry level. I really like how easy it is to access the coach with slides in, how open the floor plan is, and the amount of storage. I agree with Matt on the cabinets near the overhead bunk: those are easy to damage. If I estimate a sales price in the $260K or so, I want a 50 amp cord reel, AND I want more CCC THAN 1940 LBS on a diesel. The low CCC would be a deal breaker for me. I’m not sure folk’s understand how easy it is to overload and how dangerous that is. I know most folks don’t think it’s a big deal, until you have a problem. We found out the hard way. Thank you! Another good ( and entertaining) video.
I think this is the new class leader. The other XCS chassis motorhomes I have seen don’t compare. Unfortunately, it has one major flaw that many people might miss. The CCC of 1900 pounds is absolutely horrendous. A full tank of water eats us about 25% of the CCC. it would be extremely easy to surpass the remaining 1400 pounds of CCC with the amount of storage available. A couple of people and a golden retriever and you would have less than 1000 pounds for cargo. I don’t like the carpet in the slide, but, I can accept this to gain the better mechanical quality slide mechanism.
Hey guys, great class A. I know that the cooktop covers are a pain Andrea, but I think I saw a couple of slotted wooden storage spaces under the sink. Could that be for the cooktop covers when it's in use? Just wondering. They may also be for the sink covers so who knows.
Very nice indeed! Definitely could live with the negatives here, so many positives make it possible. It’s definitely a contender for us in about 2-3 years when the price is considerably lower.
5000lb hitch on a diesel?. Also I would love to see you show the awnings or say how long and wide they are. This is coming from a guy who sits outside all day. Especially with a slide on that side, it would be nice to know how much awning goes past the slide. Thanks
I wish I would have purchased this coach instead of the lame Forest River Berkshire I have that is loaded with problems! I've owned a Tiffin before and the quality is unsurpassed!
1,900 pound payload capacity .. not good. After a full tank of fuel and a few odds and ends, 2 occupants, clothing not to mention carrying a full tank of water you’re over gross weight. The reason is because it’s a 39’ coach with washer and dryer, A bath and a half with a 340 hp engine.
A 40' DP with only 340HP and 700 ft/lb is under powdered. XCS I get a price point item, the floorplan is nice, but I hope/wish they have an option for an all-electric coach and table and chairs instead of dinette. In the rear bath, loose the second sink and increase the width of the shower and I hope the bed over the cab is an option because they suck so why have it.
i hope that the numbers that the numbers they put up were wrong. GVWR - 29410, GCWR - 33000, means that you only have 3590 for towing. the CCC is only 1956 which means you will probably be over weight on your GVWR alone. 2 people at 300lb total (low estimate for most American couples) 70 gallon fresh water(8.34lb per gallon) is 268.8= 568.8 pounds full propane tank 24 gallon @80% full (4.2lb per gallon)= 80.64 pounds you should always keep your black tank 10% full of water to prevent poo pyramid 6.5 (8.34lb per gallon)= 54.21 all those alone= 1003.65lb 1956-1003.65= 952.35lb for all of your clothes, dishes, food, tools, outdoor equipment, ect. final thoughts this thing doesn't work
Most Tiffin's have brownish cabinets - not a fan. LIkes: king bed, bath and half, full body paint, ccc (deal breaker) Dislikes: no electric power reel for power cord, door in front of passenger seat, brownish cabinets (nope), no oven, tv is small, no in-door ice for fridge. No sale price.
For such a beautiful RV it is very depressing when you look at the paint job. Due to the paint job being the colors using the black white silver and grey which is depressing colors because there is so much of it. I would walk away from the cell of this RV. There is too many RVs and many other vehicles that are so much same colors black silver grey and white depressing. In fact I have now an orange Jeep to go with my RV which is in Brown's tan colors on the outside of the RV and it is an older model
Only door to get in are the front doors? That doesn’t work for me. And why is the toilet make you scrunch up? Not sure I like this Tiffin. Great seats. Nice TV placement. But it’s not great
Too much money!!!! Get rid of all the carpet. Where's my oven? I don't use convection microwaves. I can buy a 3 bedroom house in my town for this price.
My only like is Matt's singing. My dislikes are just about everything else! Propane? Straight rail? 5k towing? Less than 2k payload? No cord reel? Cheapest wet bay known to man? Manual bunk? For $331k 😳....might as well throw a Thor logo on there. Sad to see Tiffin falling off.

This was the best video just for the singing alone 🤣
Wow! I LOVE this! It’s the first diesel that makes me want one! Not overdone. Just exactly right!

Hey ladies and gentlemen motorhome looks really nice I really enjoy watching you guys do your stuff and your singing is awesome!!😀
Beautiful! I love it!

Should bring back "Doable Pooable" for these close calls. Liked the vid & the unit.
Absolutely love it, I would definitely love to own this

Matt, you have a great voice!! I’m impressed! 🤩
Sing it Matt! 🎤 🎶👍🏼😎
Really like this layout... Do they make something similar on a raised-rail chassis?

Practice dancing in a rv? I'll make sure notifications are turned on when you upload that video. 👍 Another good one. Cheers.
I would love to do that 😂I have to get Matt to dance with me lol
@@foxcroftandrea3213 👍👍
I caught your "That was Splendid" comment Andrea...You are very clever :)
😂
Hi Matt & andrea😊when will you be doing updated uploads of all the newest gas/diesel rv/motorhomes 30???😊
Hey guys, great class A. I know that the cooktop covers are a pain Andrea, but I think I saw a couple of slotted wooden storage spaces under the sink. Could that be for the cooktop covers when it's in use? Just wondering. They may also be for the sink covers so who knows.

Why can't they put Gas motors in the Back as well?
Yes they can....but why not?
Beautiful motorhome!

great content.
The finishes/decor don’t go together. It looks to me like they used what they had leftover to decorate.
Go to the Mid Atlantic show...wanna meet you guys...
very nice
Only 1900 CCC?
Love the review and the motorhome. But... GO GATORS! 🙂
I wish I would have purchased this coach instead of the lame Forest River Berkshire I have that is loaded with problems! I've owned a Tiffin before and the quality is unsurpassed!
5,000 pound towing and 1,956 pounds CCC is a joke for a diesel pusher.
Bet your pleasant around the campfire!?
Nope. Deal breaker. There is carpet on the floor of the kitchen slide.

It’s your show too, Andrea. You are a pair.
No go on the propane stove. Come on Tiffin Induction cooktops should be standard
As someone who enjoys cooking, I much prefer a 3 burner propane cooktop with an oven👍over a tiny 1 or 2 burner induction cooktop with no oven😢
Androved valances.
i hope that the numbers that the numbers they put up were wrong.
GVWR - 29410, GCWR - 33000, means that you only have 3590 for towing. the CCC is only 1956 which means you will probably be over weight on your GVWR alone.
2 people at 300lb total (low estimate for most American couples)
70 gallon fresh water(8.34lb per gallon) is 268.8= 568.8 pounds
full propane tank 24 gallon @80% full (4.2lb per gallon)= 80.64 pounds
you should always keep your black tank 10% full of water to prevent poo pyramid 6.5 (8.34lb per gallon)= 54.21
all those alone= 1003.65lb
1956-1003.65= 952.35lb for all of your clothes, dishes, food, tools, outdoor equipment, ect.
final thoughts this thing doesn't work
I used to want a Tiffin, but this was not impressive. The carpet looked so cheap.
I miss ovens in the new rv's.
👍
I don't think I would like the camp side slide. Some parks give you an "ok camping site," and I would not like my slide on my neighbor RV Ora.
This floorplan has so much potential👍but $331,000 for all of that outdated carpeting and a “1960’s diner” booth dinette was very disappointing😢
Need to be able to option out those booths
@@tp0376 Totally agree, manufacturers should offer customers as many options as possible👍
No auto cord reel and the carpet from the 80's. Tiffin is getting cheap and sloppy with there RV's.
Carpet in the kitchen 😬
$330K MSRP and very little cargo carry capacity. Not worth it in my opinion.
I like have 360 hp motor
1,000 lb of cargo carrying capacity is absolutely terrible. Not impressed
I thought tiffin bought it back
How NOT to stain and finish cabinets.
300. 000. Like. For. Mattrvreviuews
Alicia probably got that info from AI.
Too light of a chassis for a 39' motor home. 1900 lbs of CCC and only 5000 lbs of towing. You can do better with a gasser.
Crazy expensive…🤔

Gas or Diesel? The title says Diesel but you called it a gas motor home
Andrea corrected him in the first few minutes. Did you just stop watching?
Too much money!!!! Get rid of all the carpet. Where's my oven? I don't use convection microwaves. I can buy a 3 bedroom house in my town for this price.
No cpap spot?
The interior decor is not very nice...bland and sort of dated.
Tiffin price and Thor quality ! Looks nice now but in about 3 years enjoy everything falling apart .
I thought tiffin bought it back
