When I start my 08 g35 when It’s cold, it kind of stumbles when it starts. Not idle rough.. but it kind of struggles to climb the rpm’s when it’s cold but then levels out when it’s warming up. What could that be ??
So I went to autozone and they told me it’s was my MAF so I got the cleaner thing, did this and my check engine light is still on. Do u think I just need to buy new ones?
I’m having the same problem right now cleaned the sensors code came back! Replaced the sensors code came back! Also had codes for Cats both times too but I think they’re shot. What would be next.
Hello. I got error code P0101 for circuit B1 on my Infiniti. Could replacing the MAF sensor fix it? Also I have code P0011 and the car is hesitating/ lagging to pick up power. Any advise for that? Thanks
You should have ur foot all the way down on the brake and u shouldn’t be moving. My 2009 g37 has that sound occasionally even when I do what I just said. Not sure. But it happened most when my foot is like not all the way pressed down
You might have an exhaust leak on your passenger side. But you can try this as well. If theres no leak then probably your passenger side cat. Also make sure to use OEM or Denso for the o2 sensors.
No they are different. MAF sensors are usually located before the throttle body and the MAP sensors are located in the intake manifold measuring vaccum.
Yoo I’ve been having a problem with that my engine light came on for the that but it turns out I also have an exhaust leak any chance can you help ? I cleaned me sensor at first but then I spotted the leak
I have a 2011 infiniti g37x coupe. I triggered a P0106 code. Replaced the Map sensor but two months later the light came back on with same P0106 code. Could this be what's wrong? Any ideas.
I have the same exact issue, did you end up fixing it? I replaced the sensor and cleaned the throttle bodies and I’m still having this issue. Maybe this maf sensor will help
You very well should, to be safe. This is super late hope I can still save ya, basically can short out electronics all you have to do is take the negative wire off make sure it’s secure and watch out for sparks when you take off, better safe then sorry for your electronics
P0106 has to do with the MAP sensor not MAF sensor. Sounds like you could have a vacuum leak somewhere. Check for any loose or disconnected hoses and also try cleaning the throttle bodies.
when i had that code it was because i had dirty throttle bodys. watch motorvateDIY s video on it its a very thourough walk through on how to do it, make sure to do the idle relearn after. he has a video for that too
Did you notice any difference replacing air intake tube to silicone one?

Any type of computer relearning needed after?
No not neccessary. When cleaning throttle bodies, it's recommended to do an idle relearn.
@@latino914 that’s if you unplug them tho I Believe. If you keep them plugged and clean them there’s no need for a relearn

I got codes P010B and P0101.... can you please tell me if it's the maf sensor or what else?
The B means passenger side, so I would clean the Mafs. Also what kind of gas are you putting in the car?
@@latino914 I'm in California. I use 91
I'm pretty sure these codes relate to an issue with MAF, or vacuum in the throttle body.
Passenger side ? U sure ?
Good video. Just wondering why you cleaned them. My 2013 G37s has developed a laggy throttle at 60k miles. Would dirty MAF sensors cause this?
Preventative maintenance. Its possible it could help out with what your experiencing.
Any idea on this? Going through the same thing, I know this comment is 3 years old
Do you have to disconnect the negative battery terminal before cleaning MAF sensors?
also wondering this, might have to do it myself
Looked it up and it seems as though you do not need to. No power is flowing though the sensors while the engines off.
I saw it in other video. The answer is yes.
Is there another app I could use for the reading or another app for iPhone
Obd fusion
Are maf the same on each side or different?
Same
