Sounds like a diesel with straight through exhaust.
The exhaust fitment is absolutely gash. I’d self harm every time I looked at it. Must be something you can do to sort it out.

Sounds nice! Do like my vw’s especially the R32 in original state, personally I couldn’t live with the gap between the exhaust and bumper it would drive me nuts but I do agree the r32 rear end is one of the nicer finishes. Just give the bash bar a whack with a hammer and crow bar lol 😂 make it work Jesse

Beginning to really love this car ! Looks amazing and now sounds amazing!
Car looks mint with the R32 rear end, although I prefer the Mk6 style twin exit edge style ones. The exhaust does hang too low though, a small curved piece welded in to angle the system up over that rear bar. The system for me, is way too loud though, I don't mind loud systems but that sounds broken to me.
This is exactly what I’d do if I had a mk5 looks mint mate love it I’m red deleting my mk6 this week 🔥

I had the exact same set up at mjb for £295 fully custom straight pipe from cat, and when I went to dk tuning they charged £590, not a big fan of dk tuning

Definitely need to get it mapped though, the change in back pressure from the system could cause a loss of power or torque
What map would he need? And what else would he need to do, like change the intake? Etc
@@Rapidfire3737 if you go to any garage that does remaps they will map it accordingly depending on what mods you have. In theory you should always map your car when you install a new intake, exhaust, turbo, injectors etc. to ensure it runs correctly
Precat and cat is the most important ones to get ride of as the pre cat is right next to the turbo insane difference

R32 back bumper looks sick bro. Tips not too impressed with.. car in general looking very saucey. Just watch out cuz definitely needs a map cuz of back pressure ain't healthy for Engine apparently.. great video as always bro
Vis fuel pump internals before mapping but if you only plan stage 1 you be ok I'm stage 2+ on my mk5

Think the sound is at the sweet spot. Had one of these BWA’s a few years ago with a 3” decat downpipe and straight through and it sounded like a fuckin diesel lad and was unbearable on the motorway 😂 just know what your getting yourself into if you do that route. R32 style rear end suits it though
Did exactly the same and was devastated it sounded like tractor 🚜 😂 just got a res delete now and sounds so much better actually sounds like petrol

R8 coils and k04 bolt on turbo and this will make loads more power

Watch trhamza he’s done a fair few videos with them on gti s3 etc. my Leon is still on the original turbo making 295bhp they are good👌

Former mk5 GTI owner here change it out, buy the better revision 1
Definitely can tell it’s got a power loss mate but get it sorted and put a very good map on it u will see the difference you can hear the air leak sound
