im happy to see my uncle in this vlog and my kababayan in barangay cambulo. i hope that you enjoy your day in my village and you are always welcome my friends
New subscriber here. Excited for your travel series. Hopefully you can travel to the other less touristy areas but beautiful places in the Philippines like Calayan Islands and Apayao Province in the north.
The simplicity of life of people like lolo Limtang hit my heart & gives me realization every now & then to give what we can to those in need & try to minimize wants & pride.
I love this first new episode it’s like a documentary film showcasing the village people it’s life and it’s beautiful culture! The story of lolo Imtang is very interesting! Can’t wait for the next one!
Hahaha.. so good as documentary.. In ifugao, the tinawon(translated as yearly) rice can only be harvested once a year,, very delicious rice.. The song they sung , itetem ta hunggopa te tehtun nakaktola an nalpuh nidaddawih nidaddawidawin boble is a welcome song to a friend or love ones who came from a far away welcoming the person in his home, it is translated as "lower staircase so that i can get in because i am cold that i came from a afaraway so faraway place.. it has a continuation.. a really nice native song.. You notice that Appu(grandparent) Limtang speaks a different language(ayangan language) that that of the guide(tuwali language..we have different dialects, depending on your tribe,, or location..
Living with the locals, and knowing the culture is the real deal. I do hope you guys have more episodes like this, especially the country side. I love how you guys differed from other vloggers, being hands on is something better .
Hello Nelson and John, nice to see you again together. And what a great experience being in this wonderful region and meeting these local people. We can’t wait for the next one…
This is my first view of your channel and is totally a different content. Don't give up action speaks louder than words. Filipinos are friendly and shares even the simplest form of what they have and what they are. CHEERS
I went to Batad terraces 2003 would you believe that long ago. I was the slow in our group. My biggest mistake was that I was wearing flip flops so it was slippery and I had to pray for dear life the whole time. It was very breath taking because the rice stalks was all green. Anyways thank you for your blog guys because it brings back good memories. Hats off to you for your adventurous spirit and love your blog guys!
It's the first time for me to watch vlog such as yours. So different with the our usual visitors are doing. You earned my thumb, and my subs. Always ingat on your adventures. Looking forward to Ep 2.
That's one thing I like in the Philippines even in the remote villages people's are accommodating and welcoming. 🤗😘and true I have so much respect to all farmers .❤👍
Wow, welcome back to the Philippines. The content of your vlog is very nice, emotionally beautiful, very inspiring to the young vloggers as well. Your documentary is really commendable. Thanks & waiting for more. Pls. visit the north boarder of the Philippines, the Batanes group of islands. I'm sure you will be amazed of the beauty & culture of the people. Keep safe always.
Ijajang gayam hi apu. I was from the north too. The lolo speak like my father. I know 3 traditional dialect, and 1 national which is Filipino. Glad I found this video. I have never visited this place yet.
Wow! I love the rices terraces scenery! It real people there! You are the best men! After years that I have not see any videos from you, and now that you are back, you made me cry and appreciate little things!
Lovely experience! Thanks for sharing with us. There's just so much peace and serenity to be felt in one's soul when up in the mountains. I hope lolo Limtang knows that his work in the farm is commendable and very important, and we owe farmers like him a lot.
A great video. A reminder that, in our search for meaning and happiness in the modern hectic world, perhaps the answer lies in the very simplicity of life and living all along. Having been born and raised in the Philippines but having lived more than half of my life now in the West, I have learned that there is wisdom and tranquility in simplicity. The kind of life I left behind in the name of progress. The modern world and everyone in it is complicated, and perhaps this is the reason why happiness and peace are elusive. In the modern world, it is easy to be complicated. The real challenge however, is how to be simple. Gladly, a new subscriber.
You are two beautiful human beings: genuine, honorable. You are unlike the other vloggers. Keep exploring, keep being humane and stay healthy and safe. ❤️❤️❤️
My home city is Santiago City Isabela. You are so lucky that you have been there. I have never seen the Rice terraces in person. Never been to Banaue in my life. Thank you for this Awesome video. Good luck on your new journeys to come.
Hopefully Mary, you will have the chance to get there. The budget to go there is not very high compare to other touristic destination in the Philippines
Welcome back 🎉🎉🎉. I really happy to see your new episode. It reminds me a lot with the moments behind my backyard. I really like watching farmers plant paddie, until they start harvesting those paddies🌾🌾🌾
That is a very sad reality, hits hard. They feel they have not achieved anything where in fact farming is a very respectful job, because farming feeds us. Good job guys. Thanks for coming, they see hope in people like you.
These are the real people, the Igorots! This first episode touches me and almost made me cry because of such lovely people, humble, hospitable and joyful. I hope to see more of this! ❤️ And thank you for visiting our province, Ifugao.
happy to watch your video i am proud to be a filipino thanks for visiting my country and you have fun, thanks for the very good comments and for a hight value of respect to the filipino people
Great vlogumentary! You deserve a lot more views. Thank you for visiting the native people of Ifugao and learning about their culture. I was moved to tears by your interview with Lolo Limtang; there is no shame in being a farmer and cultivating your land. Some people have a lot of money but are miserable. I hope he knows that he inspired me, as a younger generation, to persevere in the face of adversity and appreciate life.
I love your content! It provides information(s) that are valuable and informative! I'm really happy that you guys are back. You also did not forget fun elements in your travel...nice! I'll follow your vlogs. Merci et Felicitation!

Amazing! I'm so glad I stumbled upon your channel. I've been watching lots of foreign vloggers in the Philippines but this video sets you apart! It's like a documentary one would see on television. I love how respectful you are with lolo and the other farmers. And I can see a genuine interest on your part to learn about the people and the culture and not just doing it for the views. I'm a fan! I'll go binge watch your other videos now 😊

Enjoy your stay here and keep Safe guys.😊😉
I appreciate that you took so much effort in getting to know the culture of our indigenous people in Banaue. What a wonderful experience it must have been. Nice aerial shots, by the way.
Well done on the drone shots. It was so clear. Its very interesting to hear his language. I’ve never heard that before. Its like you’re in a different country. Looking forward to your future vlogs guys

That's a beautiful way to think.
si lolo stress free... he's eating organic vegetables, meat fish..
his exercise everyday is planting rice and cleaning the field.. 😻
Well said, it could be a great ads for vegan people lol. but it's not easy to do this kind of job at 72yo.

The children are extraordinarily friendly, even by Filipino standards.
Yes, and some were not used to tourist because they are what they called there ''covid kids'' so they didn't get used to tourist

Cool, my fave couple is back. I'm kidding boys. Looks majestic, those mountains.
Bayanihan/neighborhood cooperation spirit is very much alive in the province obviously! Lolo is very admirable indeed!!
Yes but according to the local people there, the Bayanihan spirit is slowly disappearing. Hopefully this value remain in the futur.
