Amazing! just Amazing! I cannot imagine how much it must have taken for each of them to be that good on guitar. The note choices, the timing, the coordination between the two masters and the feeling they create with those thousands of notes each meaningfully executed. Truly inspiring!
I think I've seen a hundred solos by Martin. EVERY one of them has been imaginative, melodically brilliant, satisfying and consistently engrossing. None of that aimless, predictable, rote note selection or overly cerebral jazz logic. Wish I could play like him.
