The part in the very beginning where papaji just roams around the kitchen and inspects everything is a classic indian father
Hahaha true
Very true 🤣🤣
YES
True
I swear 😂
Speechless.....humble father- humble son. I had tears in my eyes when papaji was telling about your daadimaa. Be blessed RB... Pranam to papaji🙏🏻 and wish him good health and laaaaaambi umar 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Sweet
Awesome Aap nai tears la deye aakho mai soooo sweet of u
I have watched your mothers rajma receipe as well. Your parents are such simple and happy looking people. May they continue to live with good health and happiness. Ranveer u have the story telling talent while cooking like your dad. ❤
Everyone can see the innocence on Ranveer's face when he talks to his Dad..shant pyara bacha.. loved it.. ♥️✌️
Agla paani ubal ke dikhae sirji
Ranveer jaisa beta hr ghar mein ho.
Papaji saying "yeh technical nahi hai, dil se hota hai" absolutely made my day!!! any art or skill peaks when the transition happens from technical or process to "gut feel" or "Dil se". Loved the video, not just for the chai but for the father son chemistry.
The moment you talk about your father, there is love and respect in your eyes. And in this episode, you are not chef you are a 15-year-old kid helping his father. May he get a good health :)
The statement comes true
"everybody is a chef, until the real chef arrives "
It is not only a tea lesson, it is a lesson for all the children about how to treat and respect their parents.
Loved bonding between you two. The love and respect for each other looks very natural and genuine.
God bless you and your family!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Very true sir.
Liking your comment just after a Raw with 'em.
The most beautiful comment ever☺
Punjabi, family love, story telling and cooking - deadly combo 🙂❤️ That's why Ranveer's cooking is unmatched.
Hlo
Best ever episode,
Food is not everything,
Sometimes family is.
Silent message sir.
Can't express my feelings!

F coffee. Tea all the way.
Amazing tea with wonderful person by heart n that is RANVEER BRAR
Bestest comment haha
Though I am very big fan of yours Ranveer, this is the first time I am commenting. This is THE BEST episode ever seen till date. The respect, the love, the आँखों में अदब ...... Simply speechless. बंदा बाहर कितना भी बड़ा शेर हो, घर के माहौल में behaviour से संस्कारों का पता चलता हैं। Hats off to you Ranveer...
Tears kept rolling down my eyes after watching Papaji's memoir of his childhood spent with his Biji. I instantly brewed two cups of tea and dialed my father at my hometown. Thank you, Chef Ranveer, for introducing your family to us.
The way your dad got silent after finishing telling his moms story really got me. Sounds like an extraordinary woman
I (and to surprise SOME... being MAN) Broke Down crying hard with 10 mins. Dont rem "many" movies doing it to me even after Hours.
*Takes Bucket List and writes...Meet SIR Ranveer Brar - The Human, just to pay respect*
Respect Sir! This COOK.SHOOT.STORY combo is your best expression of your life. AAA grade.
PS: See You Soon :)
Like that the way he talked about chai with silently and politely.
Mother is always extraordinary mind it be it yours, mine or his...!
Even I was stunned after looking at your father's reaction.

When uncle said “Ye technical knowledge nahi hain, dil se hain.. dil se” every tea lover felt that emotion❤️
Totally!!
This says a lot about industrial society and it's future 😔✊
This video is much more than the recipe it's actually all about the healthy relationships communication in the families
The respect that we see you give your father deserves a Salute!
The respect for dad is so evident from his fun filled outgoing to suttle kid ❤️❤️❤️❤️
You r not only a great chef but also a great humble & kind human, the world needs
absolutely
You look like kid wandering around parents when they cook. Nice to see u both.
Ty RB for the heart for my comment. I'm really a big fan of u. And love u lot.
Luckiest guy who can spend quality time with his father
You have such a lovely father @Ranveer. They way he spoke about his past made me teary but proud how your grandmother raised all her kids. Salute 🫡 to you and your family.
05:46 "technical knowledge nahi hai, ye dil se hai, dil se..."
The entire art of cooking summed up in a sentence. Put your heart in whatever you make, even if it is a cup of tea, and you'll have something you thoroughly enjoy.
Thanks Papaji and Ranveer...
true
Very nicely expressed the feeling. The son is worm and father is full of love.
CHAI is a byproduct...
Its Not about just preserving foods.. IT'S ABOUT PRESERVING CULTURE...

When u were talking about your father and even when you were talking to him we all could see in your eyes that you are so emotional and happy that you’re with him and teaching us how to make tea🥰 that’s the best thing about u love you sir.........
This is such a touching video; a beautiful tribute to family, heritage, the joy of preparing meals - I literally started tearing up watching this. Also, not the 1st time Ranveer has warmed my heart and made me emotional during one of his videos.
You are not only a great chef, you are also one of the finest human being. The humility in your father's voice, the way he reminisced about his mother shows the strength of his character, it also depicts his values, principles and a strong character. Kudos to your father and family. More respect and love!
When you talked about calling our parents to know family history to save it from being lost, I literally had wet eyes. You're a boon to have come to our life through this medium. Thanks!
Isse zyada achcha video maine kabhi aaj tak life main nahi dekha... mujhe apke papa main apne papa dikhe... unke bhi bohot struggles rahe life main... sare struggles sune maine unse... he was a self made man... aaj jo hai life main unki wajah se hai... papa ki jagah koi nahi le sakta... koi bhi nahi... Thank you Ranveer and papa ji🙏🏻
Your Father's tea recipe is soo delicious..... And the way you represent the bond between a father and a son is soo heart-touching ...... God bless both of you sir ☺️☺️❤️❤️
Such a simple basic recipe almost everyone’s daily Routine drink Called “CHAI” but made huge impact by uncle the way he was sharing about his life such an Honesty ,Pure it really touched our Hearts 👏🏻👌🏻👌🏻
His dad is so calm and loving. I love the relationship that Chef Ranveer has with his parents ❤️
Really.
No matter how old we grow.... We always craves for mother's love....
yes , love to u
Ranveer it is rare to come across a celebrity like you who has such deep rooted ties with family. This video I cherished for you to bring your father such a noble gentleman and showed your love and respect for him
.Indeed these days the modern generation should learn from your selfless love for your family.Hats off to you.
Maa toh maa hoti hai!!!
I have also seen my mom- dad talking about their mom-dad and their grandparents with same emotions. Ranveer hope you made him feel happy afterwards as he was lost in his emotions while leaving the show!!! Please make him feel happy, he is such a humble human being!
I live in Australia and my people back in India. Fortunately I got to spend a fortnight in India with my father just before he passed away. Surprisingly he talked so much about his childhood and his parents and grandparents and siblings like never before! I still cherish those moments. It is so important to talk to our elders about their life, and experiences. Thanks Ranveer for sharing this.
👍👍👌👌
It's touched my heart....i never commented on your recipe but this is out of the box now i can undestand why u are so down to the earth lots of love for you and your father..😍
This video is so so special.. touched my heart deeply :) Such beautiful stories, and such amazing parents we all have. These generations (mummy papa, dada dadi, nana nani) are pure gold!! So much love to you RB for sharing this...

You can see where Ranveer's humility and beauty of character comes from, these stories connect us all as Indians
Nothing to do with being Indian
@@viditarora1998 I don't know about you but I have heard such stories of people in my family who done similarly, including my grandma. This video made me realise what we see today of many Indians coming from nothing and working in big posts and what not (Even in other countries we outperform in terms of socio parameters, read USA etc.) This idea of sacrifice by such strong people MADE it happen , instead of today's foreign concept of YOLO
@@viditarora1998 It has a lot to do with that.. These common feelings of respect , love and acestral stories.. is what connects all Indians
@@anko7827 Very true
The simplicity of both shows how much affection and care they have ..beyond words
Seen a little Ranveer Brar today, most loving side of Ranveer who gives all his credit to his biji(family)love u for this chef
it was not about tea but love, relationship and warmth .. thank you for sharing this.
we absolutely love you sir.
His dad's story made me cry. The struggle mothers go through to raise a child is unimaginable.
❤
Watched this today. Indian Mum's are blessed by Devi Mata, hence they cannot be compared to any other mother out there. Dad was holding back his tears, even at his age. We all know the feeling we get inside when we speak about our parents. Our first God's.
Lots of love from South Africa.
Your dad is soo strict still there seems a strong bond between you both.. Nd your dad is like upar se strict nd within very emotional and lovely person 😊
This episode is more than cookery class, it shows family bondage and feelings....Salute
All time ever best episode.... Father-son bond, mother-son bond, grand son-grand mother bond, learning of masala tea... One of the best dialogue was "technical Nahi ye Dil da mamla h"
That respect for your dad shows in the level of your voice when you talk to him Ranveer ❤..Namaste to uncle ji from Dubai🙏
Must be such a proud moment for a father to see his son achieve so much in his life. 🙏🙏🙏 to Uncle ji.
Ranveer sir k dad itne pyaare h - Ranveer aapne bataya nai😍
"Conversations only come out when there is a cup of tea in your hand." ❤
Chef, thanks for being you !
It is unbelievable that such a loving family exists ... Your humble speaking style now I understand that you have received these values from your parents .... The difficult situations make people humble, you should always thank God for every difficulty in life .. Life is greatest mentor...
The attachment and closeness in uncle's heart for his mom is remarkable. He still lives with those moments. Hats off for this wonderful video. Pairi pona to papaji.
By far, one of the best episodes by Ranveer Brar.

That silence, after your father finished talking about his mother, I could sense the longing he had for his mother❤️
I could me the same thing happen to my Father, whenever he speaks of his Mom.
Oh my god such a cute expresssion when he is with his father
10:08 Marvel of cinematography - White kettle with background of black shirt, look at the steam!
When he says "pata nahi kaise kar leti thi"...he says so much. So very touching ❤️
Very emotional episode. When Uncle said, "technical knowledge nahi hai, dil se hai, dil se" you know experienced how this man is in every aspect of life.
This is just so so beautiful on so many levels. The sentiments in this shoot I feel totally nailed the essence of sharing a cuppa chai - taking time out to appreciate your family and where we come from, evident in the fact that every family's chai recipe is unique and that it has been handed down through different hands to you. Nicely done, Ranveer - you give a whole new meaning to the phrase comfort food. Big love from a big fan and desi home cook from NZ :)
Hi

Ranveer could not stop my tears after listening to your Papa. It seems both your parents are very simple and genuine people. Like to see you all in person and hear more stories of your loved ones. God bless you all ❤️
Ranveer Paaji...
It always feels good when our elders share their life's stories and experiences.
I do same with my Tauji
Thanks for the episode
Your grandmom was an educated lady and hence, that passed down in the family. Literacy comes with books and all. Education is something that depends on one's zeal to learn, grow and explore. Your grandmom's story through your dad was really heart touching. Best wishes to all!

This is the most wholesome video I've watched this year❤️
This wasn't an episode on chai. This was an episode on the father.
Yes of course ❤️❤️
This is probably the first time, I have had tears in my eyes while watching a show about cooking.
I'm a guy who used to burn water, and now I can cook anything all because of your videos. I have been watching you cook in your kitchen for so long. This by far is your BEST video. When your dad was reminiscing about his childhood and mother, there was so much love and gratitude in his voice. You don't get to see it nowadays. Love to your family and dad. This is one of the videos I watched misty eyed. Thank you for that.
Such honest conversations and indian father and son relationship over tea....family recipes are always a treasure.
You know what, Ranveer, it just brought back, so many memories. My father almost 93 years old, when asked about family would be so happy telling stories but when talking about his mother, my 93 year old father, a grandfather and also a great grandfather, would become a child. I could see in his eyes, emotions, looking far away, reliving once again those moments with his mom. He would just melt into memories, without saying a word. His eyes would giveaway.
Thanks, you captured those emotions, I know it's not relatable in words, I tried so many times.
"Masala Chai" with your Father, became more than a Cooking Show. You lined up incredible Dishes close to my heart, but this simple Masala Chai episode just became special to me. Brilliant. You are commendable. I worked 24 years in US as Computer Professional but my passion of food overtook me and engaged me in real authentic Mexican & Indian (not so great) Restaurant in downtown LA.
Anywho, thanks to you and your Dad (God bless his heart) for bringing this super episode. Thank you.
Well I don't know that why the channel of such a passionate, confident and friendly chef has very less subscribers.
So Touching with Tea Lovely! I must say BEAUTIFUL
