Car counts still low 😢. Remember the recent peaks of Parramatta having 50+ on a normal week;
Hopefully the various tracks can work together to make a schedule that encourages higher counts and bigger prize pools

Some of the driver/team comments are why I worry that sprint car racing could be in trouble in Oz in about 10 years.
Why do I say that?
Well, most of the technology comes from the USA, where half-mile tracks predominate.
The 410's continue to rise in speed as engine, suspension and tyre development continues.
How long can our little 1/4-mile tracks sustain the incredible power of 410-spec sprint cars?
I could already name many tracks where I prefer not to see sprint car events, because they are either too small or not sufficiently banked (often both) to put on good racing.
Track width is also a worry when cars this powerful (900+ Hp) are unleashed.
Perhaps some fans are enjoying the carnage, but I fear that it becomes unsustainable in the long term, if repairing a lot of wrecks after every show becomes the norm.
BTW, I must emphasize that I love sprint cars - best motorsport in the world. I am just keen to see the whole category thriving as long as possible.

They're all 410's, at least that's what we usually run.

Thanks for the coverage Toby. I can’t afford to watch all the races on CPV so it’s nice to be able to keep on top of it and hear what the drivers think of the new tracks. Keep up the good work!
Well great to see competition between all different tracks on Easter weekend i guess the Easter trail has lost its gloss, or is it the cost of diesel to get there. Lets hope they dont go down the path of circuit racing where there events are on the same weekend in different local circuits.
