    Can you please suggest how to solve/proceed when we have heteroscedasticity problem in the data?

    Is there anywhere I can cite this way of checking homoscedasticity?

    I'd like to know what was the purpose saving the unstandardized predicted values. I didn't see them used in the second regression so, what should we do with them? Could anyone help me with this information? thank you

    Why did you save the unstandardised predicted values (PRE_1), if we never used this variable?

    • @RESEARCHHUB
      @RESEARCHHUB  3 года назад +2

      Although we did not use the unstandardised predicted values (PRE_1) for Heteroscedasticity testing, from a regression point of view it shows the predicted value of the dependent variable for the particular observation. For example, for the 1st observation, while the actual sales value is 3454, based on our regression estimates the sales value for the observation is 2879. And the residual is just the difference between these two values, that is, 575 (3454-2879). I hope, now you see the use of the predicted values.
