  • In this video I show how to test for heteroscedasticity using SPSS. In this video we estimate the determinants of the abortion rate in the US as presented in Chapter 5 of Gujarati’s Econometrics by Example 2nd edition textbook. I show how to identify heteroscedasticity using a scatter plot and also by employing the Breusch-Pagan test and White's test.

    Thanks Justin Doran for your sharing. But i stil have doubts. What if the earlier part when RES2 is used, it shows that heteroscadesticity occured but the later with PRE2 shows that homoscadesticity? So, can you please help on how to justify?
