  • This video demonstrates how to test for heteroscedasticity (heteroskedasticity) for linear regression using SPSS. The standardized predicted variables are plotted against the standardized residuals and the resulting scatterplot is interpreted.

    do i do the same for multiple indep variables? i.e. just add more variables into the 'indep variable' box?

    how can I test hetreoscedasticity when the indpendent (predictor) variables are yes/no (1/0 dummy) variables? I then get two columns with points.

    So if I do violate the assumption of homoscedasticity... what do I do?

      just use variance stability transformation by transform the response variable because heterodasticity means the response are not from normal population
