Where can I buy this template? Can you use the cutout from the LVP floor so it matches perfectly? Do you use a router to create the holes for the vent?
Like the idea but you're creating a high spot in the floor by shoving something underneath it, I spend days getting floors down to its eighth inch tolerance and I'm sure as hell not going to throw it back out of tolerance with one of those, I'll pass
The metal support is only 1.2mm thick and it goes under the floor around the vent so the vent is actually flush with the rest of the floor. You don't feel any difference it the floor height at all and they sure to beat the wooden ones that I got from Lumber Liqudators, which we tripped over because they stuck up 1/4 inch above the floor height, and they broke when stood upon. And, they look a hell of a lot better than any of the steel ones, which also stick up at least 1/8 inch above the floor. I have no complaints and they have been installed for more than two years.

How deep of a cut do you go? No template for that
You just go deep enough to cut it off. You can feel it when you have gone all of the way through.
