Im normally pretty good at not tilting but when you lose 9 rounds and when the guy who has 1 more kill than me calls me a noob and shouts expletives at me its pretty hard to not tilt
I am gonna remember this video when I am solo queueing with a russian who runs alone with the bomb when he has it and starts swearing at you if you tell him he shouldn't do that XD

Then you probably also start fighting with your team mates and oh look, nobody is in the right state of mind to play well and you lose.
How I deal with tilt is to keep calling out. Nothing worse than when your teammate gets titled and they start cluttering the coms with their complaining. I get that you just have to let it out sometimes and I’ve found it helpful to just focus on calling out when I’m upset to do so.
This will help me to remind myself to calm down during tilt, and I've tried it but it didn't work. But now that I know I got people on my side I feel much better and am motivated to improve with my mental health.
I used to tilt because of bad teammates trying to put blame on others, and now I try as much as possible to not tilt. Thank you for sharing these tips.
I always try to play less competitive games so I won’t get mad so easily, but I do get bored of those and try other games sometimes. People are so incredibly mean and immature, I can’t control my anger no matter what I do.

Verilly Harlim No such thing. Everybody had a different training routine that works best for them. Figure things out, see if they work for you. If you’re getting better when using your training routine, don’t copy anybody else’s or listen to anybody, even if they’re s1mple
Depends on what you want to get better at. If aim is good, just do warm-ups and maintenance work. If you want better peeks, train pre-fires, peek movement, crosshair movement, etc...

The more I’ve learned about having good mindsets for the purpose of gaming, the more I’ve realized there’s a huge overlap between your balance in real life and your ability to be composed and make the best decisions in game
I think becoming aware of it, and basically any emotion gives space as well as some clarity. It is also helpful to breathe consciously for a few moments to let go of any mental positions at that time.

Make sure when you are bringing up quotes, stay in either first or third person. If you start the sentence saying "When I do ___," stay with "I", instead of switching to he.
I play poker for a living and in the past couple weeks have encountered 10+ situations where I have had 90%+ equity to win a hand and lose. While this has had a huge effect on my financials and my state of mind, I still do have a place to sleep, food and necessities. I needed this desperately. Thank you
I tend to get extremely frustrated to the point of yelling when I play FPS games, this video helped allot, idk man there’s something so frustrating about playing these types of games.
I hardly get mad in FPS games, but figthing games brings the worst of me. In a 1v1 game If you lose you cant put the blame on another person, Its only your fault, and the frustration gets higher after every lost. I raged in Dragon Ball FighterZ today, and I'm not happy with It. If a game is making you to tilt, take a break. Its not worth to rage in a game. You will get angry, sad and will be bad for your health and mind. Its also good have a game just to chill. If you are getting very mad in a FPS, Figthing Games, MOBA or whatever, take a break and play something like Stardew Valley.

I hope this works. I constantly get angry no matter the game and it genuinely makes me hate myself that I haven't controlled it on a regular occasion. I'm honestly glad and surprised my friends have stuck with me after the things I've done and said over games
Hi Quincy. I'm glad you're working on it! It'll be a work in progress! First step is awareness, and catching yourself doing it so you can diffuse it asap. You have to find the root of why you're getting angry. It could be you're fear of being judged- looking less than. Maybe it's being too hard on yourself by expecting perfect (which is impossible since we're human). Maybe it's playing whilst in a bad mood or having stress in your life. Learning to be easy on yourself and realizing life and video games are meant to be enjoyed. It's a playground not a dungeon :)
Me and my friends playing in a nutshell. Them: *doing good, fragging, getting info, etc Me: *not fragging at all Also me: *staying cool Them: "wow you're so bad" "why are you not even fraggin?" "delete the game" "you're throwing" Me: *gets tilted idk if i should get new friends or just stop playing with them
badly needed this because currently experiencing raging tilt from teammates who doesn't know wtf they are doing in the battlefield. I won't even bother talking about their mentality of not wanting to win the game at all!

I get tilted not by teammates or anyone else’s gameplay for the most part just myself because my aim is laughably bad and I’ve work hundreds of hours on it and don’t see any improvement so every fight I get pissed off because I miss every shot and if I do it it’s for extremely low damage
I'm good at CSGO but easily getting tilted, all i got to do with this was stop playing and then i decided to play CSGO regularly (still every day) but not continuously, only 10-20 min practice and 1-2 competitive match. The results very awesome i always play better & better and never got a single "tilt" again. also this will make csgo more fun to play like you never play the game before :)
Whenever I start playing I'm good and hitting my shots but after some game I start playing bad because my teammate alwAys start raging and blaming me for the loss and when I'm playing solo without talking to him I play good which means he mess up stuff everytime we play together so I should stop playing wih him and get good teammate

I came here after I lost 5 games of clash royale against level 14 mega knight players in silver league and I want to react more calm. Also I realized that I react very toxic dying in Apex Legends. It is not good and I realize my mental health dropping drastically on that days. Around that my life is pretty awesome, so it has not affected me on a long term. But if things might get bad outside of it, I am worried that I am out of control and punch my monitor, desk or wall. And that is not good. It should never get that far. I really appreciate that video and those will be my motivation to stop tilt and eventually, think of it as a learning experience and good influence on my teammates. It also really motivates me, because I feel like people who die in video games and remain calm every time deserve a lot of respect. It could be so easy. thank you!

Overwatch makes me wanna comnot crimes to those who've sent me into the depths of rage... Its unreal how pissed off that game gets me... On top of the fact that I'll play my heart out, be at the top of my team and often the better of both sides, and then I'll look at my team struggling to get a single thing done while the entire enemy team is basically Seal Team 6... Im so tired of OW also putting me in games that you can tell right away I'm desinted to lose. Today alone I went 3 - 14. I wanted to fucking set my house amd myself on fire and choke the enemy teams in with bare hands...

Mute all is the solution to 90% of the tilting
Self control and patience, lots of it is the answer. Pretty difficult to master, but usually just mute them.

While gamesense is something that is trained separately, aimer7 has put out some nice guides on how to improve aim which have definitely helped me.

I have found that analyzing the situation that caused me to tilt allows me to trascend the anger and switch things up to avoid repeating missteps
Needed this from bad luck, bad timing, dumbass team mates , from Csgo, War Thunder, Valorant, Dark Souls and so on.
What really helps me is thinking on the other person dying on a grotesque and terrifying manner. It calms me and it reduces my toxicity!

I came here after I lost 5 games of clash royale against level 14 mega knight players in silver league and I want to react more calm. Also I realized that I react very toxic dying in Apex Legends. It is not good and I realize my mental health dropping drastically on that days. Around that my life is pretty awesome, so it has not affected me on a long term. But if things might get bad outside of it, I am worried that I am out of control and punch my monitor, desk or wall. And that is not good. It should never get that far.
I really appreciate that video and those will be my motivation to stop tilt and eventually, think of it as a learning experience and good influence on my teammates.
It also really motivates me, because I feel like people who die in video games and remain calm every time deserve a lot of respect. It could be so easy.
