    How to make a dragon from start to finish. This sculpture took over 60 hours to complete. It was made using Monster Clay, and Super Sculpey for the teeth and spikes. This is over 25 hours of footage, edited and compressed it into 14 minutes. Hope you'll enjoy watching the process!

      Monster Clay is an oil based clay and cannot be hardened. You can leave it like this or make molds and cast it.

      When I opened the video I thought this was gonna be just some quick random sculpture of the dragon but that is so wicked! That must have taken so long and has such great attention to detail! Awesome work! I'm definitely going to watch more of your videos!!!

      @@seniorpz1969 not like polymer clay, but at room temperature it's relativly hard. I was using Monster Clay hard grade for this.

    rolling pins with little stones on them.. that was brilliant! you just roll that texture like a paint roller and boom, done. wow. Must.... remember....

      It's actually a stamp with pits in it. I must make a few stamps now, I am working on a lot of furry paleo creatures and breaking my brain (and hands) spending weeks carving individual hairs...

      @@Aethuviel oh dang, Dinosaurs, especially Dromeosaurids have such a variety of body textures. Good on you for learning alternative methods than hand sculpting everything

    *Not even 5 seconds later*
    "Hold up, this was modeled by hand with clay?!"
    Massive compliments to you, I kept thinking to myself about how much patience you must have while doing all of those details.

      Takes a lot of time but I do it cause I love it. I think patience is if you can't wait to get to the outcome. I enjoy the process more than the outcome, so I don't see it as patience. That makes it easier for me

      @Nicholas Ford OH MY GOD! I'm tired of people saying this! Wyverns are still Dragons! But in this case
      Drogon, Rheagal and Viserion are actual Dragons, even said multiple times in the damn show
      The reason why they are of the Wyvern design is because it's actually more realistic as George RR Martin said that's why they're like designed that way
      6 limbed Dragons would be impossible to exist in the real world as every other vertebrate creature aside from fish and marine mammals, have 4 limbs
      If Dragons were real they would most likely follow that same evolutionary design

    Great work! I also want to challenge such a work. Does this clay harden over time? Or do you stay much softer?

      Old reply but wanted to share info; monster clay is somewhat-soft still at room temp(still able to be sculpted for detailing etc) but is softer at warmer temps
      This also depends on what Grade is used
      But all in all its mainly a reusable clay

      @@CraftyArt Haha i just love how fans continuously outperform the supposed professionals, simply because they lost they passion for their own creation. I am glad you show that with patience, skill and most of all passion, beautiful works of art aren't some unattainable goal to achieve but something we could all do eventually if we set our minds to it. I will be checking out some more of your sculptures. I really love your attention to detail, like the gland in the dragon's mouth where he spews fire from. It gives me ideas for my own crafting.

    The detailing and shaping this Artist uses is enough to make it look so easy. But it takes years to learn the techniques they use. I imagine after a few videos a person could start working in the medium and progress rather quickly if you love it enough.

    Guess I should have read the description, super sculpey for the back spikes. That is hands down the best dragon sculpt I've ever seen.
