@@whocares4267 As much as i love this game, it's far from perfect. That's why it deserves the bad critics it has. Let me point out all the major flaws in this game. 1. As soon as you play the game, you have 3 ground levels, and then right off the bat 7 bird levels. Not only did they ditch most of the legendary weapons from previous Turoks such as the MAG 60, Grenade Launcher, Sniper Rifle, Assault Rifle, Throwing Blade, Auto shotgun, Explosive shells. You lose HALF of the very few weapons you have throughout the game! The weapons are mediocre, the shotgun and minigun are useless after 5 ft. 3. No variety in enemies, 95% of the time you are fighting the same generic boring sleg soldiers, from the very beginning to the very end. The biggest mistake was the introduction of the bird chapters, which constituted a significant portion of the game. Additionally, not much thought was put into creating enemies as you fight the same generic slegs from beginning to end. Also, the weapons were super mediocre. However, the level design was great with its simplicity and linearity. This game had a lot more potential and could have aged better. I would buy the remaster on day one if they ever make one.

What else do you think could have been done faster? This run went exactly to plan so i doubt you found any flaws. Other than the gun ship part. In which i had no control of.
Xbox has all the other turoks remastered besides this one why?
Not just Xbox, the same applies to all platforms. Turok Rage Wars has also not been remastered, Turok 3 remaster recently got announced though. If we don't get a Turok Evolution remaster within 3-5 years we may have to bring that to NDS's attention.
Turok assisted speedrun
This game was fucking awesome and multiplayer was lit. Got stuck on a mission tho cuz of a bug in the game tho and couldn’t advance :/
You must be referring to the invisible wall despite the doors being open. You just had to destroy the enemy spawners in that room.
@@TheGamingChad. YES IT WAS AN INVISIBLE WALL!! You’re telling me I could’ve advanced if I cleared the room of enemies😭😭😭
@@johnfakester5527 You had to destroy 2 of the machines.
is the first level skip possible on ps2? i tried it but i don’t see the branch you jumped on
I noticed its much easier to pull off on PC. Do you want the PC version? I can hook you up.
@@TheGamingChad. i appreciate that a ton but sadly my computer would have a seizure. maybe i will take you up on that in the future. thanks man.
@@bornwithclothes It's a 2002 game it will run perfectly fine. If you wanna speedrun it do it on PC.
@@TheGamingChad. Hi, shockingly yes. I didnt think it would work but i am just now giving it a try. Although ive never played a pc game in my life so im unable to control the game for some reason. Do I use like a controller or something?
@@TheGamingChad. i got the ocntrols to work running that setup thing. But also how do you exit full screen? Can it only be done by going to the main menu and quitting? esc and f11 do not work. This is really dope thanks man
How did you shotgun spam like that?
Hold "shoot" and pause the game rapidly.
Tal Set is cool. But I want a new Turok with Joshua so badly..
Maybe just a new Turok game of the right lore - > Turok is a title, not a name. Also what happens after Turok 3.. I NEED TO KNOW.
A cool oldschool like game.
If i ever win the lottery of $300.000.000 i will buy the game rights no matter how much they cost and hire David Dienstbier (original lead director) and put him back to work lol.
@@TheGamingChad. awesome! Put me in! Hahaha
@@etiennenemitz1456 I would pretty much hire the entire Turok Discord/Steam community, very talented people who are doing crazy mods for free. Even i created a weapon pack mod myself for Turok 1 remaster.
Stupid goddamn flying levels
That was the biggest complain at the time when this game came out, rightfully so, like who tf asked for this. It was a nice touch but the levels were too many.
@@TheGamingChad. but hot damn the first person stuff is actually pretty damn fun .. ALMOST makes trudging thru the fucking flying levels so I can shoot more lizardmen

🤣
Hell ya!!!!!!!
On which console ? I try it on GameCube and it’s impossible
This is Gamecube version Emulated on PC. It is possible. But EXTREMELY difficult. Do it on PC version. It's easy.
@@TheGamingChad.
Is the Gamecube version emulated on pc the best looking, stable version out?, I heard the pc version was lackluster, does it have something that the pc version hasn't?, I guess the best version to play would either be the original Gamecube version or if you have a pc the Gamecube version and skip the other versions of the game entirely, is that correct?
@@brucefly3612 Gamecube version is the most stable, but lags in certain areas if you emulate it, the textures and lighting also look the best. PC version has glowing textures sometimes and the mouse movement is inconsistent. Sometimes missing cutscenes and music. Still playable though.
@@TheGamingChad.
So should I try pc version and use Xpadder for the best experience or should I stick to emulated Gamecube version (I'm currently in this one)?, I see both versions have their own benefits.
@@brucefly3612 It all comes down to preference, sometimes even saving doesn't work on PC. On the other hand who plays an FPS game with a controller lol. It's hard to pick one of the two, but i play both. I feel like the PC version has a narrower FOV. Have you contacted Night Dive Studios about remastering the game? We the community need to show them interest. Hopefully we can bring this game back to life with improved controls and graphics.
To be honest this Turok dint live up to expectations. The worst turok in the franchise.
@@TheGamingChad. you’ve said it all in comparison to the turok dinosaur hunt and seeds of evil that made me to buy this, their enemies and weapons were a cut above the rest. Each new stage in the dinosaur hunt N64 version came with new enemies and more challenging, fun stages although has some generic enemies. This version came with generic enemies with glitches where some time you see enemies die handing in the air. When it comes to remake, I think the remake is far fetched and as whole I think the turok franchise is dead.

this game sucks!
It does.
Aim bot?
Ah yes
Aimbot in a 2002 GameCube game? Are you nuts? This is tool assisted.@@pettheray4177
I hate these garbage speed runs using glitches to beat a game.
But that's the whole purpose.
