One of the things that I admire about the folks like you and the restorations that you achieve, is the way that you take early industrial assembly line objects and make the refinements that ought to have been done and would have been done if these were made by hand individually. You literally make them better than new while still keeping them the way they were when they were newly made. I had this suggested out of nowhere to me tonight, and I am quite impressed with how much care and attention to detail is taken. I will openly admit that he puts in far more effort than I would have thought of doing, and on something that I would have never considered restoring as well.
The fact you made your own tool for some part of the restoration was just....wow 😲 And the stamping part was just so satisfying and cool to look at, great work!! Love to see you restore unique items like this one :)

Congratulations as this channel appears to have the highest standards of quality and attention to detail. All your restoration processes are of the finest quality.
Ok this is my first video of your channel. I'm probably hungry because I'm viewing this thinking your restoration is somehow *delicious* and I'm not talking about cheese. The polishing and shiny looks make this old thing appear absolutely amazing, like it's a new product. And the special skill you just showed by making new small tools just for the sake of completing the specific parts... Subbing because this is VERY satisfying 😭👍🏼
Wow. After the first few minutes I thought, "Am I watching a My Mechanics video?" There's nothing to differentiate! I've been wondering for the last few years if there was any other channel that lived up to that master of machining and restoration, and I may have just found it. I'll have to watch a few more videos before I can say for certain, but this is very promising! Well done mate!
I am amazed that you could recreate those broken pieces exactly! This is a beautiful restoration done with sympathy and precision. I think it is important to keep another piece of antique kitchenware for prosperity as nothing today is made as robustly as these early items. 🤗🇦🇺
I'd love to know where the restored pieces from these videos end up. Like a museum, a mom and pop shop actually using them, or gifted/sold for home decor.
I love your attention to detail. When you restore you aren't just making it nice and shiny but you are restoring as close to original as is possible. That makes you exceptional. I was actually surprised to see that it split the cheese in 4 before slicing it. Is that optional or just the way it was made?
Thanks and glad you liked it! No, actually that wires who split the cheese in 4 pats are for butter, not for cheese . But I didn’t found a block of butter so big and I used cheese.
We need to bring back and make this tools popular again. Nowadays companies will Force you to sign up to an account, connect to wifi and pair your phone with a QR to "enable" a f*ing cheese grater
The fact that you not only remade the broken pieces, but put all the original lettering onto them (when most people wouldn't have bothered) elevates you to a whole other level of restoration skill and dedication.

I think this is my very first video from your channel I've been watching. But no doubt, I liked what I watched mostly the machining phase. Keep it up man.

Thanks mate ! I can’t say the same, I watched a lot of videos from your channel. I like how you put gold from brass on that cleaver ! Cheers 🍻
I had this suggested out of nowhere to me tonight, and I am quite impressed with how much care and attention to detail is taken. I will openly admit that he puts in far more effort than I would have thought of doing, and on something that I would have never considered restoring as well.
Thanks Mike and glad you liked it so much ! Cheers 🍻
Wow! Everything is just perfect! ❤️ So many different processes were involved. I really enjoyed the machining part. Cheers mate🍺
Thank you very much my friend 👍 cheers and looking forward for your new video
I know nothing about your tools and methods, and even I am stunned by your skills with the lathe and CNC machine. That’s world class talent.
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed. Wish you all the best 😊
The fact you made your own tool for some part of the restoration was just....wow 😲 And the stamping part was just so satisfying and cool to look at, great work!! Love to see you restore unique items like this one :)
Thank you very much and glad you liked it 😊
this is the highest quality restoration video i've seen. you have all the tools and knowledge. you are clearly very skilled and take pride in your work. you've earned a sub.
Thank you very much and glad you are here 😊
This is what i’ll call ASMR, good video!
Thanks a lot 😊
Bro you actually reply to everyone comments.
I am very pleased by what you do Keep it up ❤❤❤
Thanks a lot mate 👍
Раньше был бытовой прибор, а теперь произведение искусства…. 👍👍👍
Thank you very much 😊glad you liked it
Show. Nem a fábrica consegueria fazer melhor, uma verdadeira obra d arte essa restauração.
Congratulations as this channel appears to have the highest standards of quality and attention to detail. All your restoration processes are of the finest quality.
Thank you very much Marc and I really appreciate your kind words. Thanks again 😊
Thanks and glad you liked it. Wish you all the best
Thank you very much Molly H. 😊 glad you liked it so much . Much appreciated
It has to be better than what it was when originally manufactured.
Thank you very much mate! This is a nice compliment, I try my best every time 😊
Sacrificing one piece of modern cooking equipment so they can restore it in 2112
No matter how many times I watch this, it never gets old. Wonderful work.
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed so much 😊 cheers
I’m no grown man,or teen, but even I in a young age say this guy is very dedicated in restoring.
Thank you very much Daniel 😊
That's a really cool cheese cutter. Nice job on the restoration!
Thanks and glad you liked it CJ 😊
One of the best restoration process I’ve ever seen. Amazing skill, tool and video taping. +1 subscriber
Thank you very much Gustavo 😊 glad you subscribed, I will try my best every time
I am amazed that you could recreate those broken pieces exactly! This is a beautiful restoration done with sympathy and precision. I think it is important to keep another piece of antique kitchenware for prosperity as nothing today is made as robustly as these early items. 🤗🇦🇺
Thank you very much and glad you enjoyed 😊 cheers 🍻 🇦🇺
That guy who restored earlier with only a single tape 🗿
Хорошая работа!!👍👍
sorry for breathing the same air as you
Now he has to restore the air

Top quality work, love seeing all the nickel plating and was relieved to see powder coating instead of spray paint.
Thanks , glad you liked it 😊 wish you all the best
I'd love to know where the restored pieces from these videos end up. Like a museum, a mom and pop shop actually using them, or gifted/sold for home decor.
Hi Andrew ! For the moment I keep them in my collection. Maybe after a while, I will sell them to my subscribers. Some of them will be “giveaway”
Cara, que primor, cuidado, capricho, qualidade...enfim..
Não tem como não dar like e se inscrever!
Parabéns! Amazing!
Parabens Ed 👍
19:52 for a second I thought this said “I will leave these parts to soak in rust forever”
😅😅😅
"all that for a slice of cheese"
All that for a drop of blood.....was it worth it???
So worth it
🧀
I love your attention to detail. When you restore you aren't just making it nice and shiny but you are restoring as close to original as is possible. That makes you exceptional. I was actually surprised to see that it split the cheese in 4 before slicing it. Is that optional or just the way it was made?
Thanks and glad you liked it! No, actually that wires who split the cheese in 4 pats are for butter, not for cheese . But I didn’t found a block of butter so big and I used cheese.
Классная реставрация !!!
👏👏👍
the patience this takes was insanley impresive as some people wouldn't even care to put this on youtube
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed 😊
We need to bring back and make this tools popular again. Nowadays companies will Force you to sign up to an account, connect to wifi and pair your phone with a QR to "enable" a f*ing cheese grater
