It 's fantastic , as always a Doc restoration , but what about the musical toy you were talking about ? , last time you were talking about a toy to be restored, I love seeing you restore old metal toys. You won me over like this,
Very nice job. I'm impressed that you went for the full restoration. A lot of times I see equipment that is meant for food contact being restored with non-food safe finishes. After all "it's only meant for display". A true restoration restores the complete functionality of the object, including being able to use it for the original purpose. Fantastic work.
Awh man I feel you. Have you considered getting on birth control ? I got the arm implant (Nexplanon) and it was the best decision I ever made. No period, no bleeding, and more importantly no cramps ! You could also get yourself checked for endometriosis if they are exceptionally painful
Thank you for restoring “old” things. Not only do you bring them back to life, and give them a second chance, but you make them better than when they were originally manufactured. You have great talent! Thank you for letting the world see what you’re capable of doing. You have a gift.
I really like how you explain everything. Not many people know how to make wood filler with sawdust, including myself until working in a shop. Great restoration!
@@CoolAgainRestoration I really appreciate it. I usually watch these videos at night in bed so not being blinded by bright light is a positive for me.

I think what I learned most from watching this was I had lost a level of "attention to detail" when it comes to my work (I work in tech). Watching this video there were a few times where I wondered "but does that need to be done?" and that was never a question for you. there is a pride and level of attention to detail that you pay to things that others might overlook or pass by and I will take that lesson with me into my daily work. it's a subtle reinforcement of "if it's worth doing, it's worth doing right" thanks for another awesome vid.

Beautifully done! Since you asked, I can't say I'm a fan of the yellow, but I don't know what other color I would have chosen, unless it was just basic black. The wood turned out so amazing. Fantastic job!
Way Cool. The Yellow works. I don't know where you all come up with all this Antique items but keep them coming. This meat slicer was something I've never saw before. I’m 11 days late but this is my first video of 2023 🥳 You always do a fantastic job restoring worn down pieces. I love that you put every detail in the video. Makes me very happy 🥰
Thanks a lot and glad you enjoyed! I read a comment where you complained about the camera changes and I want you to know that I try my best to find the balance between the young generation who like it fast and the other generation who like it slow . I have people who told me in the comments that the video are bored because the shoots took it too long and I have people that told me they want longer footages or subtitles because they can’t read it. So , is very hard for me but every time I work with love and care for my subscribers .
Such great care is taken with even the smallest pieces, and you always seem to improve on the original during the restoration without fundamentally changing the item. You are truly an artist! Happy holidays from the USA!
As usual, you did a fantastic job! I chuckle when people complain about quality these days when I watch you need to grind down the casting seams on almost every piece.
Watching this for the 3rd time today. I also restore old things as my profession and love to put your videos on to play in the background as I work, especially doing something tedious like hand sanding small objects at my bench. My only critique is the color, I would have used black just because that would be slightly more correct for the time. Other than that I thank you for your effort of breathing a new life into an old object. I think the person who assembled this slicer on the production line back in 1883 would smile and be proud to see the justice you've done this piece. Might I suggest experimenting using coffee as a food safe wood stain in the future? I typically brew mine INCREDIBLY strong, to the point of being disgusting and undrinkable, but it produces some amazing color that is non-toxic and transforms beautifully with age
I really appericiate the green transparent box you put infront of the weld. As someone who is watching this at night in bed to help me calm down, it's nice someone thought ahead to not make my entire screen white in one go.
I am in love with the yellow. ❤ i know it isn't for some but wow it's is super pretty and the strain is perfect. I've seen to many videos of people just ruining vintage items and it's heart breaking. Thank you for not running the item and actually restoring it. 😊

Beautiful restoration! I appreciate the details, such as cleaning up the minor flaws in the original metal work. Very professional. I think these kind of things often get a red paint, but I thought the yellow was a nice change from the usual. The kaiserspeck looked pretty good. There is a butcher shop near me (the owner is originally from Prague) that always has it.
