Hi Daniel! I've often seen that people by accident misplace database name and username. Also very often mistake is that they remove " " from the wp-config by accident. Please let me know if this helps?

after you entered the database name/user/pass you didn't click "save changes" do you need to do that first before doing step #4?

Although, I do not seem to get it right.
I follow all the steps.
When I go to my website, it says: 'error connecting to the database.'
Any idea what I missed here, or where I start looking?
I found out what I did wrong.
I simple copy-pasted my version of 'k31x' without the 'icopdzvy_' in front of it
I have this error message and wondering if this method you did here can fix that or do I have to do more than just update wordpress? Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress.

Hi Bassey! You probably didn't save document. PS. before you save document, check if you entered database password user and name in the correct fields.
Once checked just click SAVE. Then just go to URL you want to install WordPress and you will find yourself in the next step.

@@eynshamacademy I have public_html in cpanel WordPress backup in that but MySQL database table not available in Phpmyadmin
@@abinayasree4909 don't go into phpmyadmin but find plugin called Database (that's where you need to create DB, DB USER and give user access to actual database).

How do i market my business through the the wordpress once opened?
Hello Spiro, great video, my only problem is after I edited the wp-config file and input my database name, username, and password, I tried to open my browser and put my domain name to install WordPress, but I keep getting my current existing webpage. I don't see the WordPress install wizard where you select your language, like you demonstrated in your video. Did I do something wrong?

Not working how? Watch again try to find out what went wrong. If you follow everything it will work 100%! What I found people sometimes miss is they do not add correct user permissions to the correct database, or when editing wp-config file they put database name in a field of password and things like that, good luck!

I had a site hosted on Wordpress.com, and it reached around half a million a year. The key is to post every day without fail, and create quality content. If you don't see immediate results, don't give up, it takes a year or so for you to build readership, and your content to get indexed. There are no shortcuts.
