As a marylander, a blue is a blue. The difference is in cooking styles. MD does have a cold winter in which crabs migrate and go into hibernation type state. Any one in MD who eats crabs in the off season please ask yourself.... where are these crabs from???? Not the chesapeake. They are shipped up from Texas, Florida, Louisiana. Cooking styles and spices are what makes the differences.
People are so insufferable. This man is a gem. He’s got a great, big heart and he’s doing what he loves. He’s also hilarious and fun to watch. Enjoy and be inspired.
Thank you for always making me laugh...it's rough out there right now, a little levity goes a long way. Also, you're recipes are amazing...I don't have access to the same beautiful crustaceans here in Dallas, but I try! Lots of love from Tejas ✌🏼
" Nobody ships trash to a gold mine." So true. Not sure whos is better, but seems a blue crab is a blue crab. Maybe the body of water makes a difference. I dont know at all. But I do like crabs. And that dip looked like money. Paddle was awesome too. Was fun to watch. Great video
You've got that right . I'm from Maryland and I can tell you , save the water for you flowers and STEAM your crabs in beer. You only need to sacrifice one can , but it is FIYAH .
I can only watch SaltyCracker once per week cuz he's such a downer. But Stale Cracker here, love these vids, can watch 'im every single day, dude. Entertaining and great crabs!
We love you dude, when I get home from work I'll watch your videos while I hydrate then try to cook the same stuff, it doesn't turn out quite as good as yours but damn it man.. me and my family love you for good food!!!
You’re right! It’s how they’re cooked! You da Man! So where’s the Maryland crab dip guy…went back in the closet with the crabs! Lol Thanks Shaun in Wimauma Florida
100% true, I'm from Nebraska but when I was in Florida I bought 30 lbs of live crayfish and about 9 lbs of blue crab, the guy running the place said he sells thousands of lbs of blue crab to resteraunts in Maryland all the time
I live in Florida and we have tons of blue crabs here and I’ve never even heard of Maryland blue crabs. Must just be an up north thing. Also, Florida bulldozer lobsters are way better than Maine lobsters too. We don’t have claws but the tails are way bigger and tastier.
I'm from Panama City Florida a little county called Bay county Florida ,in the panhandle this is a everyday thing man ,Panama is a shrimp ,oyster and just every type of fish you can think of type of place ,down here we eat it all and Florida is the place of the angels man I love it ,I was born and raised here and I'll die and be buried here aswell ,also godbless you guys and america as a whole ,I love y'all ,peace! ✌️
I’m over here in Oregon 🌲🌲 Mr Kracker and I just bought your two step seasoning at Walmart!!! I was so, so happy to find it…. I almost cried (no kidding!!) Anyways….. it’s the best seasoning ever!! It’s 🔥🔥!!! Sending love to all from Oregon 🌲🌲❤️💕
As someone from Maryland I can tell you the difference. Its what they eat. Maryland crabs eat the bodies that are dumped in the bay which makes the crabs taste better.
I’m from Maryland and I can personally tell you it’s def all about the cook!! Maryland ain’t what it used to be either. Just bought your seasoning and tried it for the first time yesterday and all I gotta say is old bay has some real competition now lol I’ll always love my old bay though.
Blues are blues to an extent. The water they come from makes a subtle difference. A childhood friend of mine is a crab fisherman. He’s always said certain parts of the bayou produce better tasting crab than other. Also, I’ve never heard of a Maryland crab before this video. Lol
Your right Stalekracker. But however it’s cooking styles we steam our blues you guys boil your blues. You guys use a different spice than we do. We use old bay or JO spice on ours. You guys use cajun style seasonings on your blues. Plus MD is famous for our crab cakes. Our winters are cold so that’s off season for our blues most places will end up having blues shipping up from where your from. But no one’s market is better than the other. I would like to try your home style of blue crabs. And I would like to challenge you to come up here take a trip to the eastern shore of MD go out with a real local crabber then see you sit down pick them and eat them in old bay or JO. But yes there is no difference of who has the better market. I do think you are a hell of a hands on hunter and fishermen and one hell of a cook you make me wish I was eating some of that delicious food you make.
My area gulf crabs are smaller but that is my area. Went to north part of Florida crabs were much bigger. But us from Maryland that have open minds love getting learned by the kracker
As a man with extensive family on the eastern shore of VA, who some (mostly on my ma's side) work on the water, it's not about the crab itself. It's about keeping the waterman alive. That was the point.
Man Your bang spot on always, Hahaha got me saying all your catch phrases while im cooking at home and the Girlfriends always laughing at me Lol, Much Love Dude from Beautiful British Columbia, Canada

I'm here for some great crab. 👊🏼
Hey, you made me swear in my head!!
@@bCKization 😂😂
I’m here to get crabs
Thank you for always making me laugh...it's rough out there right now, a little levity goes a long way. Also, you're recipes are amazing...I don't have access to the same beautiful crustaceans here in Dallas, but I try! Lots of love from Tejas ✌🏼
Have a great day
As a Baltimore native who visits Louisiana often I can say there is no difference except we drown our crabs in old bay seasoning
And some steam over boil which my opinion boil does soak the flavor more to be real
Old bay and beer!
We use Tony seasoning only difference
That’s a fact💯👌🏽
" Nobody ships trash to a gold mine." So true. Not sure whos is better, but seems a blue crab is a blue crab. Maybe the body of water makes a difference. I dont know at all. But I do like crabs. And that dip looked like money. Paddle was awesome too. Was fun to watch. Great video
The only difference is the seasoning. Delicious either way :p
You can’t tell anybody from Maryland about Crabs, cause they know it all!
LOL true
You've got that right . I'm from Maryland and I can tell you , save the water for you flowers and STEAM your crabs in beer. You only need to sacrifice one can , but it is FIYAH .
Not me I'm open minded to learn something new doode
All this was missing was a "dooo" at the end.
Only thing folks from Maryland know all about is that traffic on them damn beltways 😂
*"...Cuz this is cracker worthy!"* 🤣
"The best crab you eat is the one you put in your mouth" That's poetry, don't @ me lmao
I’m heading to New Orleans next week! Hoping I run into you somewhere . That dip looks fantastic!
I can only watch SaltyCracker once per week cuz he's such a downer. But Stale Cracker here, love these vids, can watch 'im every single day, dude. Entertaining and great crabs!

"That's money dude", GET 'EM STALE! 🔥💪💯
A blue crab is a blue crab.
It’s like saying there’s a difference between a fiddle and a violin. They’re all the same.
Your wrong
@@sonnyevelyn No I’m not lmao. I’ve been playing the instrument for 15+ years.
It ain't about the crab it's about that Old Bay. That's money dude.
South Texas born and raised... them Louisianna boys got it goin on. My brothas from across the bayou. Much love.

I live in Florida and we have tons of blue crabs here and I’ve never even heard of Maryland blue crabs. Must just be an up north thing. Also, Florida bulldozer lobsters are way better than Maine lobsters too. We don’t have claws but the tails are way bigger and tastier.
