Our old rooster jumped up and spurred my mom when we were little. No sir, he caught a 22 short to the head and was our dinner that night! Love it SK
I used to live in Belle Chasse Louisiana as a kid so I got a love for my Cajun food. I made this today for my family exactly as you did. Absolute fire. Can’t cook stale cracker recipes without putting a little bit of that Cajun pronunciation in my vocabulary. Keep them recipes coming brotha. 🤘🏽🍽

You can take those bones roast em in the oven till they brown up then boil them with water, peppercorns, holy Trinity and herbs and make a venison stock, keep skimming the top as impurities rise and add water if it evaporates too much as it cooks. After a couple of hours you can use that in your Stew
As a young adult who used to take backstraps, quarters and tenderloin and not the neck and ribs. This has made me want to start using the neck and ribs!

My boy slow cooked a crockpot full of deer ribs a couple years ago for the first year of College football Playoffs and they were “put that on a cracka duuud” AMAZING !!! Venison is absolutely delicious if cook RIGHT !
Take dem bones salt n pepper, roast in oven on 350 for a couple hours. Take the bones n juice off the pan. Put in a pot with water, garlic carrots n celery. Cook it down make yourself some venison stock for steak gravy and stock for stew or soup. Get yourself a book called " BUCK BUCK MOOSE"!! Great video !! I make rib sandwich out of my ribs!!
This looks incredible! If I ever get lucky to have venison grace my household again, I'm making this. My only difference is I'd probably add just a little cream of mushroom to it just to thicken the stew a bit. I like my stews thick.
In the mountains of VA we take all the meat on the ribs and neck and make deer hash with gravy and old biscuits it's awesome actually it's MONEY DUDE 😁⚜️⚜️
