He is one of the most underappreciated singers/songwriters of our time. There is so much subtlety in all he does. His music is soft and beautiful but harsh at the same time.
This man is a legend. His sheer use of language and voice is unmatched in my opinion. Sharp,intelligent and there's a magic there that can't be explained where true Art comes from. He warms my spirit like no other.
"Out of reach of flowers and soap". I take courage from that line because no matter how depressed and low we can go it's possible that love will come to me. Hope springs eternal.
Love Has come to me, just couldn't keep it. They did not like Bonnie Prince Billy so......... If I can find someone with soul and shares the same music taste as me I will on the right path. Its just that I seem to be the only person in NZ that even know this guy exists, never mind owning most of his albums :)))
