Thank a lots Donna: Your advice is very appreciated. In my case, relaxing more the tongue is crucial as well as my shoulders and arms sometimes ;)
Very new to the Sax, your videos have been reaaaally helpful. thank you so much!!! :)
I have a problem. It’s with Tonguing. Whenever I play a note it has a “ta” sound. Witch is what I have been playing like for years. But I was wondering if that’s the right way to do it. Because whenever you play I never hear that sound. It sounds like there is no articulation and you are always slurring. Can someone help me out? The sound of Tonguing is much more prominent when I play and I can never get it as quiet as you.
Syllable is important but also how you are articulating. Check out my Articulate Like the Pros course to control your articulation: academy.donnaschwartzmusic.com/courses/articulate-like-the-pros-master-saxophone-articulation-to-play-any-style-of-music-you-want/
