    Where can I find sheet music for the scales you discussed (alto)?

    How come when it gets to maj7, min7, 9 #11, 7 b9, 7 #9 #5, 13 #11, min11, min9, 9sus, etc. you see only guitar charts and piano keys which are not very useful for sax players. I like to find a resource that spells out all the relevant notes on treble key staff regarding above chords / scales, whatever you name it but all the relevant notes spelled out on the staff. Thank you.

      If you check out the Jamey Aebersold books, on the bottom of each chart, the chords are laid out - I think that's what you may be looking for? If not, let me know...

    I don't think this is very clear for beginners like myself. It really does not explain which ones to get down before learning some of the esoteric ones.

      I think I made it clear when I gave the exact order for learning scales...
