I very much like the picking version on the fluffy riff because then it works to be heard better on acoustic as well. I also just wanna say I see the work you put into this video, this is probably one of the best if not THEE best chon picking tutorial videos out here.

That picked fluffy riff sounded really close to the original tapped one. I might try just picking it too since the taps aren't loud enough without a compressor.

@@JonLui not many people know this but the ascending part of the mountains riff is actually hammer ons and the descending part is alternate picking. if you watch marios play through closely you will notice this. It makes the riff a lot easier and the only way i can play it haha. good job for alt picking the whole thing

the mountains of creation riff is hammered-on on the way up and picked on the way down. don't make it harder on yourself.
I'm definitely going to try learning fluffy by picking instead of tapping because that sound was much more pronounced

Fall is definitely one of their greatest riffs in my honest opinion. It's equal parts melodic and rhythmic.
Modern guitar players today make 80s guitarist like Slosh intermediate level. Most intermediate guitarplayers can play Slash. It’s like sleeping. Give these modern guitarist a mellow track to rip over. Theres more feel, emotion in thier lil pinky fingers.

Ironically #7 is the easiest for me. O.G., while there's a lot of string skipping in the riff, is pretty straightforward when it comes to alternate picking so you can develop the pattern pretty quickly and just need to practice it a bit.
