Cool video. At the McDonald's roundabout, they have niw got road markings to show you should be in the Right Hand Lane if you're going straight over, and all the roadworks seem to have been done pretty much😉
You driving around Burgess Hill brings back memories of when I lived there many moons ago. I used to play darts for the Windmill pub (18:08). Park Cameras used to be on the left (27:25) and Gloucester Motorcycles, where I bought my first motorbike, used to be on the left further down Royal George Rd. just before you got to the lights. The Royal George pub was on the corner of Royal George Rd and London Rd before it became flats. I took my test in Kemptown, Brighton in January 1989. There was no test centre in Burgess Hill then
Thanks for this video and congratulations on passing! My instructor wants to swap me from the Crawley test route over to Burgess Hill so i thought id see what the routes are like.
@@SpeedKenBlock1967 no test centre in Burgess Hill when I took my test in 1989. I took mine in Kemptown, Brighton. Cars parked both sides of the road wherever you went down the side roads. Took mine there rather than Brighton itself as I had friends who lived in Kemptown and I knew the area
@@Janwarrior I legit failed for silly errors aswell in crawley. One was for going straight in a left hand lane and the other was apparently clearence when setting off again. So annoying. I'm seriously considering Burgess Hill, doesn't seem many big roundabouts like crawley
I'm not gonna lie it's really hard to see the speed limit sign, What I did is I stayed 30 mph and most of the time relied on the navsat even though it's not updated but I have no choice hahaha
Got my test booked for here in December. Was told by my instructor this is a very difficult route (although he hasn't done this route for a long time). I'm fairly confident in my skills but what he said makes me a bit uneasy. But looking at this video it looks mainly like country and a bit of regular town driving? How difficult is this route in your opinion? I am learning and driving around brighton/hove area right now
As someone who failed for something identical to this in my first test (with 3 minutes left), i feel qualified to say that it's for the oncoming traffic. You'll never have to stop immediately after turning left at a crossroad, the green light before turning shows that you're allowed to continue

Oioi, well done! This is where I took my test almost 3 years ago, first time, oooooooosh.
Wow you really nailed it 👍

Crawley is the worst test route the examiners set you up for failure
The worst in my experience is Hasting with the lowest passing by Google reviews
Just had my test in crawley yday and failed im thinks to do my next test in burgess Hill the test routes look so calm
I recommend you to take the test in Burgess Hill. I failed in Crawley as well 😊

Thanks for sharing the video. Can you help with the road speed details please?
Same with me, did you find anything out?

I’d say this is by far one of the easier routes of the ones I’ve been practicing doesn’t go near hurst or Ditchling which are a bastard
At the McDonald's roundabout, i dont understand why its ok be in the left lane when you're coming off on the right. Can anyone let me know
As far as I know as long there is no arrow road marking you can use the left lane going straight. Correct me if I'm wrong guys😊
They've actually changed it now and you can only go left in the left lane
@laurenprout1266 good to know,
thank you.
@@laurenprout1266yes that’s true
Why is there no speed limit signs
There are speed limit signs however it's hard to notice 😂
Nice! Did you get any minors ?
Yeah I had 3 minors, I stalled on the roundabout as well😅
Still passed! Congrats, I got mine on Friday same place
Good luck, you will be fine😊 Just remember the MSM and drive safely👍
@@Janwarrior thank you :)
@@Janwarrior what were they for ?
The traffic light at 28:15 was it yours or for oncoming traffic please i'm a bit confuse 🫣
