When children don’t deal with the trauma they went through, they do it to other people when they grow up. They’re just passing on the genocide.
This is a brilliant statement that targets the core of the issue and cuts through all propaganda and talking points about "human shields" and "right to defend ourselves against Hamas": the intentional, systematic and deliberate mass starvation of innocent civilians is genocidal by definition. There is no way to argue with that. Also, condemning the Israeli governments behaviour is not to claim that Israel does not have a right to exist or to defend itself or that Jews are collectively responsible for what is happening. To equate an extremist government with all Israelis or Jews (even more bisarre) is to be antisemitic. What Bibi and his criminal gang are doing is antisemitic. They are hijacking and trying to hide behind their jewish identity and thus trying to tarnish an entire ethnic group that does not have any responsibility for the genocidal policy that they are imposing and are responsible for.
Tapper's first question is stupid. Should the AG seize Trump's assets if he can't come up with the bond?? Would that question be asked if the person was a regular citizen?
