Detailed videos each week are great to keep everyone involved and also provide us with advice on how to do up our own boat project.
awesome, noted :)
Favourite boat builder on the platform hands down!!!
Would love weekly videos mate! Looking to restore a very similar boat so cheers for doing the hard yards so I can just follow along haha
HAHA no worries mate, i think this is going to be the way to go!! :)
Oh hell no. Watching this made me so glad I bought new rather than restore old.
Admire your dedication mate. I’ll be watching with intetest
HAHA the fun on restoring old boats. Yes you did :P
Hey Mack, nice project you got yourself there. I hope you will lift the floor 100mm, just above waterline, to eliminate two things. 1.) You get rid of the angle right where you’re going to stand while fishing. 2.) You can make the deck self bailing, which is one of the best things for a modern offshore fishing boat.
Thanks for message Man R!
yes i am bringing the floor flush with the side on the hull (waterline) but keeping sealed, no self bailing. thanks for watching :)
Great vid. I completed this exact process 2 yrs ago on my complete rebuild. I'm now about to put deck on finally. Keep videos coming. Love it! Keep the edge of deck all around. Will be useful for many steps later doing stringers and great place to hold tools whole working.
Love it. Weekly would be great because I'm looking at the same exact job on my 20 footer.
Sounds good! thanks for watching mate :)
Channel deserves more subscribers! Greetings from Finland 🇫🇮🚤⚓️
Thanks roni!
Appreciate the support, haha that’s awesome 👏🏽
Hey mate just a quick a tip to get rid of the fibreglass itch or to prevent it. Use talc powder (baby powder) all over expose skin to prevent fibreglass going into your skin pores (prior the suit)
Thanks for the Tip Joe, i may have to try this!
thanks for watching :P
I watched the voyager project and loved it. I'm wanting to have a crack at my Savage Escort hopefully this year so more detailed videos relating to the task would be awesome because I have no experience and wouldn't know where to start.... I dare say anyone watching your rebuild vids are coming along for the journey of watching you do something special, but also to learn and see how it's done. Either way however you do it I'll be tuning in to watch as I cannot wait to see how it turns out 👍
haha thanks geoff, Yes i remember your comments, appreciate the ongoing support :)
I m going through the exact same thing right now I learned the shovel thing from you .I m from vancouver canada we had a local builder of boats that produced the sangster line very simaler to your hull
Let the digging begin 🙂
A short weekly vid would be mint cant wait to see angry dad back to lend a helping hand
HAHA i don't think he will be helping on this one :')
I'm looking at doing my transom and stringers on my old savage astra I just purchased so weekly vids would be amazing which I'm guessing your already doing. Keep up the awesome work mate and can't wait to see how she comes out...
Definitely good fun! Yes trying to get a video out atleast once a fortnight 😅 varies with the weather and other commitments!
Thanks a lot 👌🏽🙏
I used a garden trowel for mine, and a crowbar too.
Love the builds mate 👌 awesome work, cant wait too see the end result
thanks alot scott :)
@@AngryMackAdventures Oh also....love the weekly ones, maybe once a month a rundown of all processes and tools used....just push your normal job to the side...you don't need money hahaha :-)
Love ya work mate gives me some motivation to finish my reef runner project
hey mate haha thats Good to hear, lets get them done!!

Happy new year! awesome, noted :)

Thanks mate 👍
1 video a week would be awesome! thanks love the boat builds!
Thanks for watching mate, no worries i think that's the way to go, appreciate the support :)
Fantastic video as always! Weekly videos be great!
Glad you like them mate!
love the vid!! I think a cool video I would like to see would be a bit of an explanation on why you choose this boat? And general tips of choosing a boat to rebuild ect
Thanks for the idea! will try incorporate that in next video :)
Gday nick just commenting to say loving the build, and maybe suggesting doing the transom as the floor didn't look to good, and also maybe putting in a big underfloor fuel tank as this would help u out massively if u ever wanted to go see the islands up north as I assume u no about. keep up the great work. :)
Hey chad, thanks for watching mate! Yes the transom is def coming out as well as the cabin at the front! Yes under fuel floor tank is happening and maybe even a kill tank!
Weekly!! :-)
Awesome!!
@@AngryMackAdventures the vids are awesome by the way. Maybe one day I will try a boat rebuild, but for now I'll stick with my mint haines sig and watch your vids! Keep up the great work!
Wow good luck man
Haha thanks mate!
Multitools are great for boat work that's what i use on my boat restorations and its the perfect tool for cutting decks and stringers
Thanks for watching mate, haha i tried that but too slow lol
@@AngryMackAdventures no problem. maybe tougher than the boats i have done and doing
nice job... i just bought a 20ft cabin boat to do the same thing with
Thanks mate!
Oh awesome, love seeing the older boats coming back to life
Weekly videos would be awesome to motivate me to rebuild my pacemaker
HAHA no worries Sounds good!
I’m thinking of buying a 40 yacht project but it needs the structural matrix repairing how difficult is this thanks
a project is always good fun if you have the time :P
Treat yourself to some re usable Overalls. I got mine from a 2 pack paint supplier. They are about 35 bucks talc up before getting in and they will last a whole rebuild. 👌
oh sweet will look into it thanks simon :)
Now that you’ve removed all the foam do you plan on putting new float foam back?
Sure am mate!
Thanks for watching
wow looks like a big job, fortnightly or weekly just depends on what you can get done. ? I suppose weekly would be best , you have a great happy personality keep the vids coming on what ever .
That's the plan! thanks alot mate, appreciate the support :)
Have u braced the hull from under the hull? You cant just tear out the structure without supporting the hull
on the trailer still gary, ill brace and square up once i start building the stringers.
Gday mate glad its you and not me , im restoring a 15 foot gannet at the moment that will be my third boat resto . I hope you got that real cheap as its going to take a few dollars to bring it back even doing all the work yourself , i know about the itchys had from my haines hunter and getting it now from the gannet i subscribed to your channel just now , maybe i can learn something or maybe i can offer a suggestion anyway good luck .
Always a-few dollars in bloody boats, but yes fairly cheap! Thanks mate appreciate the support!
Ya man just looking at your video views insane how much more the boat voyage build got. How I found you and I love the content. I’m a fan for weekly videos I think shorter more in-depth to the purpose videos are better for boats there is not much out there online for how to in terms of hull work.
Awesome, thank you!
yeah there isn't really is there!
All that foam really seemed to be dry. Stringers and bulkheads all seemed solid and strong. What am I missing?
Hey mate thanks for watching
If you watch video beofre the foam was very wet. I decided to replace the lot
How’s the land cruiser going?
Hey Gary, absolutely love it :)
First 😍 let's go!! 🚀
YEWWW 🎣🎣
Still keen to get some Angry Mack stickers mate! Let me know how to purchase some!
Hey mate! yes of-course atm im selling from my Instagram account until i get them on the website :)
I understand that that the Polyurethane foam available now is supposed not to absorb water (and is resistant to chemicals like gasoline), unlike the polystyrene.
didn't look like it was completely absorbed but very heavy and water was filled on the bottom. could of been from when sitting around and filled from the holes in the floor.. Thanks for watching :)
Weekly would be good
awesome, noted :)
1 a month longer is good
Thanks Derek!
Stretch it out, your content is good enough that you can do a bunch of shorter videos and we'll tag along imho
Thanks mate, that's good to hear :)
Regular shorter vids!
awesome, noted :)
What ever u do just dont use that foam under the floor again its just junk!!!
