The Ritter Hogue RSK Mk3 is an exceptionally light and capable fixed blade knife by the man who brought you Knife Rights and the RSK Mk1 folding knife, Doug Ritter, and is made by the outstanding, Hogue Knives. The RSK Mk3 sports a 4.5" S45vn drop point blade, with a very acute and slicey flat grind and an extremely comfortable and neutral G10 handle with gription to beat the band! I would say this knife is an excellent all around outdoors and survival knife, especially when weight is taken into consideration. This light and robust fixed blade knife comes in the best cordura-style nylon sheath I ever remember using. If you love the Mk1 or just need a do-it-all fixed blade, you will not be disappointed with the RSK (Ritter Survival Knife) Mk3!

I’m really liking my s45vn a lot in my sebenza large 31 I recently got. I honestly like it more than the 20cv hinderers I have. The one m390 hinderer I have is much better than the two I have in 20 cv. I wonder why that is. Maybe lower hrc numbers.

How would you compare s45vn to s35vn?

@@Phaminator525 like completely different steels. The s35vn I’ve had most likely didn’t have as good a heat treat as my sebenza does. All I can say the s45vn takes a sticky edge that bites into materials and stays without chipping or rolling. The s35 I’ve had can take sharp edges but does not last at all and chips easily on cutting up regular cardboard.
