warming up before re-recording this old track for an instrumental demo. drums were recorded previously and played back quietly through the PA which made it hard to hear... don't mind the small inaccuracies
This is how we rehearse (Lille and Jacob) as we are the only members that live close enough to each other.

lille's guitar technique is very tight. and he's an amazing drummer. i'm always impressed by the talent level of death metal musicians.

@baninimf hey there, it's a marshall jcm2000. the only reason we are getting this kind of distortion is the guitar or the pickup respectively. these are high gain pickups with an enormous output that drives the marshall into this heavy distortion. with any other guitar we used so far we had to insert an additional distortion tool such as the zoom tri metal pedal. we then use the clean channel of course.

Its such a pity that the studio recordings dont sound this awesome :( I wish I could hear everything on the records this clearly...
you need to get the album on a lossless format, and have a player that can decode that, nice headphones as well. .
trust me, it's not crystal clear but it improves the overall sound very much 😁

I actually like the sound a lot more in this recording than in studio version. The bass is clearer and it has a deeper and more brutal feel to it.

The pickups are something I have never heard of before and after.....they are called "Reflex" Something is not right with this guitar....it just has too much output. So exactly the right thing for the DS sound. Remember...this is guitar + cable + amp distortion..done!

well there was the option to make a dvd several times but so far it didn't work out that's why we put some of the stuff we filmed during/after the "chapters" recordings on youtube.

The amp is a Marshall JCM 2000, the guitar is a music man sillouette and that is all there is. Guitar - cable - amp distortion!

@PudWud1 I'm pretty sure Lille writes most of the songs, and can do as well vocals so he could pretty much be most of the band if he wanted to, though I'd imaging that playing guitars and drums at the same time would be a bit tricky. Nothing a bit of practice can't solve! ;)
