As someone who's lived in Oklahoma their whole life, this is insanely accurate
Me too 😂😂
Wouldn’t wanna live anywhere else
Well my family was invited to Oklahoma BY FORCE.
seems pretty spot on honestly
Eeyup
“Florida, what are you doing?”
“Who are you again?”
“six-nine, six-nine”
“Tell me about the aliens!”
“*Florida chuckle*”
Instant happiness
I just miss the little jingle that plays
@@dustyrose192 wait it's gone 😭 😭
@@kazooduck no don't worry, he just doesn't play the jingle when we meet states
My favorite part is that you can choose to read it like a conversation, if 6969 is the other dudes name.
Yes
Not from Oklahoma, but Braum's fucking slaps and is in fact just the best ice cream chain ever
Also not from, but lived there a bit. Can confirm. I always stop at a Braums when driving through
@@ogerific It's basically a family tradition for us lol
Anyway of me confirming this in North Carolina? Anyone from Oklahoma coming this way and want to bring some Braum's to Raleigh?
Y'all are blasphemous! Blue Bell is King!!!
@@raydarl0ve251 found the Texan 🤣
But seriously, BB is very good (spent time in TX as well). Its so good, its alllllmost as good as Braum's... 😁
I grew up in Florida, now live in Oklahoma. I’ve been waiting for this video. And it did not disappoint! Thank you Ben!! 😂 You timing is perfect with the Red River Shootout today (Oklahoma vs Texas football game for you outsiders)
Lord I am NOT impressed with the Sooners this year 😒
And will always be the Shootout, not the Showdown.
If not explained i would of thought of a duel on the river where no one won.
football ?
you mean that americanized regby ? :D
Sooners Suck this year, but if you don't root for them when they're bad, it's not as impactful when you root for them and they're good. Just hope we don't go the way of Nebraska
"Of course i wanna go to braum's!"
THAT IS SO FRICKEN TRUE
Three dollars for a double dip cone sign me up
It's the best ice cream in the country, why wouldn't I?
Braums is the best ice cream !!
I can't believe you did a whole video with Florida and Oklahoma and didn't once mention how Oklahoma pronounces "Miami".
Because it’s a Native American word. It’s pronounced the way it is. Just spelled the same.
Florida actually pronounces it wrong. The name is correctly pronounced by the Oklahoma town.
"Mahyamuh"
Absolutely.
*** TRIGGERED***
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Only know this because of David Payne getting "M-eye-yammuh" on the Gitner
As an Oklahoman this is absolutely accurate. Especially the part about watching tornados, I’ve personally sat outside and watched 3 of them go by since May 3, 1999, and of course good old Gary England. I miss him broadcasting the storms like.
I feel like he should have called Oklahoma and California should have showed up like wait what and then you see Oklahoma who is basically dressed like Haggard and he says well i live in Bakersfield now.
"Pretty sure I don't give a Stitt" is the best line lmao
As a Texan I can confirm that when a storm hits we go outside to watch
But oklahomans are always there sooner than y’all.
@@KeepClassyThenMakeItClassy thats because they cheat
Get out of here Texas, this ain’t about you
@@terral-ferma2731 still beat y’all 49-0 today 😂😂
@@arhumshamim7753 I admit we weren’t our best today.
“Suddenly my back hurts…in Oklahoma.” 😂 same Florida same
I'm in Oklahoma and I no longer use street names for directions I use dispensary names
Ok, let's just be honest, Braums does have the best ice cream in the country.
FACTS. Favorite flavor?
This is perfect timing with the OU v Texas football game today
That is EXACTLY what I was thinking!!
I was sorely disappointed that Texas did not appear to put in his two cents.
@@adrianekeils7971 Tbf if he did show up, the video would've never ended...
Aw damn the only thing we needed in the video was Bedlam
And the great big goose egg they got 🤣
Wooo my home state..
A few seconds in and I already feel called out because I went to Braums yesterday
Me to
4 days ago for me...
Oooooklahoma where the wind comes sweeping down the plains... Kansas sucks, Texas blows, and Braum's ice cream is sent straight from heaven. Good show as usual, Ben! 👍
Braum’s is heaven’s chicken but ice cream and better.
Kansas sucks but they actually had Braum's first :(.
As an okie this is insanely accurate 😂 We also have the Great Salt Plains, Alabaster Caverns, The Little Sahara
Ouachita mountains too
We love hunting and fishing and guns
And sonics
Don't forget Mazio's pizza. Love their thin crust sausage
@@weirdnerd1007 what does that have to do with Oklahoma?
Ayo! It’s finally my state’s turn! I would complain about the lack of info on the Cherokee, but Oklahoma not mentioning the Cherokee is very fitting.
Sadly true
Aren't Cherokee a sovereign state?
@@rd6203 We’re meant to be, but the state government’s been working to rip away our rights as a sovereign territory. And so has the federal government.
@@rd6203 they are. Own police force and everything.
For anyone interested, the word Oklahoma actually means 'red man' and the name came about when the state was made. Originally the natives wanted to put together a state to try and give themselves rights. They proposed the state Sequoyah (named after a really important Cherokee guy who made the Cherokee writing system), so a group of white men had part of the federal law changed so that proposals didn't have to be looked at in the order of when they were sent in. Then they proposed the state Oklahoma. It had the same borders, but it prevented natives from having any power or rights.
That is one of the most USA history stories I have ever.
The federal government changed the names of other states as well. Utah wanted to be Deseret, and Washington wanted to be Columbia. In the latter case the change was made so it wouldn’t get mixed up with the District of Columbia. 🙄
@@janach1305 Which is why we constantly have to use the two-word phrase "Washington State" to clarify, because that decision ended up causing people to constantly get us mixed up with Washington, D.C., anyway. XP
I was always told Oklahoma meant "Land of the Red Man." Same concept though
@@putnamfranklin home of the Redman
Dear God, that bit about watching tornadoes is so accurate it hurts. 😂🤣
I live in Michigan now. I still get people that yell at me when I run outside to watch when the sirens go off🤣🤣🤣
@@MichiganCrimeTime cowards
@@MichiganCrimeTime come on down to Ohio. We'll join you.
@@MichiganCrimeTime That's nonsense! Those people must be from other states originally! I grew up in Michigan, and I loved watching tornadoes and storms. Any proper midwesterner knows when its time to head to the basement. Most of the time it's just a fascinating thunderstorm.
Finally Oklahoma joins the table!
As somebody who lives in Oklahoma I can confirm the tornado thing is real we do this.
Edit some things you forgot to mention about Oklahoma We also have a museum for the movie twister a the alabaster caverns which is a massive cave system that is made of completely of alabaster and you also forgot to mention that we have one of these last surviving sod houses in the United States
Oklahomans purposely sit out to watch weather that can kill you for 'entertainment'. 🤨 I think I'm beginning to understand the logic behind Teaxs's opinion of your state.
And one of the last Drive-in Theaters in the country, The Winchester in OKC.
@@helgrenze hey Colorado has a drive in theater too
@@itwasagoodideaatthetime7980 Two words that never go together in a sentence are Logic and Texas.
what the heck is a sod house
This joins the table has everything. Braums, being cheaters, hating Texas, Tornados.
Well you did miss a few things like Sonic, and the fact that we are one of only two states that have both Hardees and Carl's jr.
We also have the gathering place in Tulsa which has playgrounds that are big enough and sturdy enough for adults to play on it along with kayaking and festivals
Biggest playground in the country
First time I heard the term "rat bastards" was when my Oklahoma born and raise stepmom was talking about people from Texas. Her and my dad lived in a tiny town in southeastern Oklahoma that was popular for it's outdoors activities. People would come up from Texas all the time to hunt and fish. They'd also tear up the mountains with their RVs, buy all the gas in the local gas station, and all the summer foods from the local grocery stores. Tourist season was also the only time that tiny town had something resembling traffic. Needless to say the Texans weren't popular.
Ah, you must be talking about Broken Bow. Fucking Texas man.
Definitely heard 'rat bastard' living in OK! And have been to Broken Bow and Girls Gone Wine a few times! One trip to Broken Bow, I had to stop and lead a loose horse from the middle of the road back to his pasture, back when I looked good in that white miniskirt!
Very accurate. As an Okie I’ve always hated that we’ve based our whole personalities over cheating scoundrels, but given who our past few governors have been it fits.
Texas will be happy to send you its current governor and Attorney General in exchange for a dispensary card.
First Governor was a crook and we have continued the tradition almost without fail. We have a particularly criminal criminal in office now.
As an Oklahoman this is very accurate, not many people know about our state, you also need to remember the native reservations and casinos. Also I have sat and watched tornados it is so nice
One of the most underrated comedians on RUclips.
I saw the "most underrated comedians" part of the comment first like each state is a different performer haha
Braum’s not only has some damn good ice cream, but it also triples as an ice creamery, a fast food spot, and it has its own grocery store. Also, Oklahoma has a LOT of museums. There’s and Action Figure museum in the southern part of Oklahoma near the border with Texas, there’s an Osteology museum, hell there’s even the Omniplex Science Museum in Oklahoma w/ the Omnidome.
The Children's museum in Seminole, a hands on museum for kids.
Firearms museum in Claremore. Gilcrease and philbrook art museums.
Don't forget woolaroc the living museum
@@brianlinville5420 cowboy museum in OKC somewhere I believe too.
@@brianlinville5420 A living ode to colonialism
I love the table news I have watched all of the almost 130 episodes multiple times
Oklahoman here, and it's my 18th birthday today, and this is accurate af. Everyone either hates Texas, watches tornadoes, or argues about OU and OSU.
Happy Birthday! Go do something fun!
Ou all the way
And the reason why I say in family reunions is don't talk about religion, politics, and Football especially OU and OSU games
Oklahoman too. The only time I see an OU fan support OSU or vice versa is when either team is playing Texas. It's magical.
@@katelyn4627 🤣 darn right!
I briefly lived in Arkansas right by the border of Oklahoma so we had Braums there as well and man yeah, it was awesome. Never realized I missed it so much until now. I still remember the ice cream flavor I loved, cappuccino chocolate chunk.
They have the best rocky road - and, believe me, I've tried many brands to compare, lol.
Braums is the best icecream though. We have the top highschool band in the country almost every year. There's also rooster days, tulsa state fair, tulsa zoo, oklahoma city zoo, gathering place, and man we have more stuff than even I thought now that I actually think about ut.
Muskogee castle as well. I went to the renaissance fair this year and now I'm debating going to the Halloween festival.
As a Army Veteran I was already like Yasssssssss that this creator was a fellow veteran but when he nailed Oklahoma my home state. He legit just became my favorite living comedian.
If you see someone wearing clothing from Oklahoma State University (OSU) it means they went to school there. If you see someone wearing clothing from University of Oklahoma (OU) it means they went to Walmart.
well you can buy both from wally world now
😂 goodness as a person from Norman you're so right. OU has statewide support it seems while OSU is more localized.
"and not let you watch"
As a Floridian, this is the worst punishment imaginable.
Thought he was going to sing "Oh, what a beautiful morning!". Am I just old now??
I thought he was gonna yell "Boomer" and Oklahoma would show up responding "Sooner".
This is so accurate it hurt, just missing reservations and casinos
FINALLY!! my Homestate let's go!
Also yeah that part about marijuana dispensaries is true, I live within 10 blocks of 4 churches and 2 dispensaries
I was about to say "isn't that doxxing yourself" but then I realized that's probably half the state
Don't forget the liquor stores, Sonics and Dollar Generals!
So one has been doing their homework about Oklahoma. As an Okie thank you for this one. Loved it.
As an Oklahoman this is very accurate. Braum’s icecream freaking slaps
In Oklahoma there is a radio station called the bull and everyday at 5pm they made fun of Florida
What's up Florida? What's up? Bud and Broadway
@@AdventureswithGeneral yep
Only thing that could make this better is more arguing from Texas. Great Video
The only thing that keeps Texas from falling off the US is the fact that Oklahoma sucks so much.
"Joke of a pan handle" got me
First time hearing it, loving the second of it
As someone who lives in the middle of Oklahoma and can confirm that this is like 100% true. Yes I have watched a tornado before and I’m shocked by this mans details like David pain from news 9!!!!😂 great job
This is SO TRUE! Honestly you nailed Oklahoma just right dude. I'm excited to see more especially between him and Texas
Didn't even bring up our biggest waterfall, (77ft), I'm kind of sad, but everything else was spot on. Good job!
After rewatching a few videos I came up with a series. The states play dnd. Storm Herald Barbarian Florida Hype
Born in Bartlesville. Grew up in Ada. You nailed it.
Not enough College Football jokes. There shoulda been something about Bedlam.
Love Ada. Spent my summers there on my uncles property.
Live near Ada!
Born in Amarillo but raised in Oklahoma I think I spent a total of 3 years in Texas since also went to visit my great grandma down there before she passed
Outstanding as always. 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Lived in oklahoma my entire life. Braums is the best ice cream ever, and 100% correct about the tornados and Texas. One thing that was missed is if you like the outdoors then a visit to any of our state parks or a visit down to the Wichita wildlife refuge is a must. If you are looking for a certain type of activity / terrain then there is a park for you to visit.
Braum’s is pretty damn good. Plus…Gary “You’d die without me” England.
Been in Oklahoma since '72, and only heard about and went to "The Center of the Universe" last summer... It was pretty damned cool!😎
We have Rocklahoma genuinely surprised me. Yes we do, and its about one of the best actual events we have.
We're just happy to be included😁
This make me miss my childhood home so much. Too bad it’s 1,000 mile away because now I was a Bruam’s milkshake
Edmond, Oklahoman here. You nailed this pretty much.
thanks guys awesome content
Braum's also has really good Burgers
And a nice little grocery with it!
My husbands from Cali, but grew up in Oklahoma
And I'm a native Michigander
So I got to enjoy some nice bits if Oklahoma, like the military museum in OKC, which is amazing
I honestly prefer living in Michigan, and am currently enjoying living in Cali
But if you're driving through
Stop by a Braum's
Bag of burgers w/ cheese....best drunk money you'll ever spend.
FINALLY OKLAHOMA
PAINFULLY accurate, excellently done
Born and raised and live in Tulsa, this is so spot on .
Going to the center of the universe is like a right of passage almost. Not much to do being a teen in the 90s, so many a trip were took to it.
Surprised no mention of mazzios or their cherished ranch.
Yeah, yeah 🎉
The David Payne joke killed me 😂
Table news is absolutely the best. Was waiting for my birthplace Oklahoma (notice I refuse to say home state) and this was worth waiting for.
I lived in Oklahoma for 8 years. This is 100% accurate 😂 and Gary England is a legend
Oh in Oklahoma City there is a Dispensary next to a Waffle House
Absolutely perfect.
I live too close to Missouri, because I know what noodling is. Thanks Kathleen Maddagan!! 😂
Could you explain what noodling is for the rest of us?
fishing for catfish..... with YOUR BARE HANDS. your fingers are the bait. no thank you
@@Electric-Gal fishing, only you use your upper body and good portion of an arm to catch the suckers. Usually it’s catfish your going for, but anything big enough to see your arm as food works.
that bit she says to describe noodling is the best lol. especially the where she's says if you never heard of it before congratulations, you've led a very classy life
@@thejestor9378 thanks!
As an Alaskan I’d LOVE to see Hawaii and Alaska interact. 😂❤️ all your skits are hilarious af tho.
The accuracy is on point. I'm a okie as well and I think you can't get any more accurate than that
awww. As someone from oklahoma, i was reaaly hoping that you would mention that weird roadside attraction demon whale. but otherwise perfectly accurate.
Demon whale? Sounds intriguing
As a life long Tulsan I can say this is accurate
Born and raised in Oklahoma. I love this video so much.
As someone from Indiana, who’s literal title is “The Cross Roads of America”, I can say for certain it’s not Oklahoma’s title. We get that from all the trains that operated here and the ones that still do.
He meant crossroads for illegal actions. Lol
Thank you! I always cheered for OSU because I couldn't get behind a team literally named after cheaters.
Oklahoma be giving me hostile Florida vibes…
And a born and bred Okie, that's about right.
My family was actually the first family in Oklahoma to have a telephone in the state! Sulphur, Oklahoma.
Been waiting for this one since I discovered this guy. Not disappointed! Well done
The accuracy is astounding. Love this one and now I want some braums.
Amazing
More things to make fun of us for: While Braums is, in fact, the best ice cream and nothing will change that, our most valuable company is Sonic. OK is also composed entirely out of land the Federal Government gave to Native Americans.
As a native Oklahoman... yes. Nice shout outs for Rocklahoma and Center of the Universe too. Didn't expect those.
As someone who has lived in Oklahoma my whole life, Oklahoma isn’t bad at all.
OF COURSE I WANNA GO TO BRAUMS LMAO- Been waiting for you to do OK lol! Super Accurate!
Scarily accurate 😆 been waiting for Ok to join the table!
There is so much to do in Oklahoma. We love crawling through caves in the panhandle, hiking through the Arbuckle, there is always the autumn fest in Broken Bow, the Ouachita Mountains are absolutely beautiful, fly fishing for salmon in the Blue River, the best Christmas Parade in the state is in Shawnee, and camping in Sulphur is always a big event when you stop in Stratford for fried pies. I've lived here most of my life and hardly ever get bored. I know we get a bad rap, but we are pretty great people.
I live on the border of Oklahoma and Arkansas. On the Arkansas side. All of this is accurate. I could go to Oklahoma everyday if I wanted. Some of my family live in Oklahoma and my brother graduated from OSU.
Go Pokes!
OSwho?
Go Hogs!
Thank you for doing Oklahoma
Yoo I'm early for once! Great vid Ben
In Colorado and can confirm people go out to watch tornadoes here too. When the sirens go off, if it's not Wednesday, we just look around in the sky to see if we REALLY need to be careful or not.
Reba and Dolly are amazing Tennessee and Oklahoma are amazing for there absolute love for those icons
The David Payne joke sent me lmao. Fantastic research sir.
As an Okie from Muskogee this is accurate and funny as hell. 🤣
We just had a tornado and best believe I stood outside to watch. Lol
I love the truth in the humor. Being from Florida and living most my life in Georgia. Crossing state lines is like entering other worlds. South ga not that many palms on the side of the road. Cross to Florida and "boom " its Palm Sunday on a Wednesday.
Some of my best memories in OK are from competitions at the Devon boathouse in Oklahoma City
im from Oklahoma and you pretty much hit the nail on the head ben
I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOREVER
Lmao got me with the "Why is Oklahoma so windy joke." I finished saying it before you could in the video lol
I'm pretty sure I learned that joke in 3rd grade, 54 years ago. LOL

We are all thankful for Oklahoma for shielding the rest of the country from Texas.
