I'll give you that the stuff on it works, but its so limited. The dlc is mixed into a disorganized store to where half of the games listed are just three versions of the same games. Either way you need to have bothe steam and origin to get everything

I tried it $4.99 because I wanted to play BF4 but didn't want to pay extra $100 in dlc to have the full game and it was just terible. the game lunches from Microsoft explorer window mode and best part about it the game never lunches. I have spent 30+min looking for Match and still couldn't get in to any of them. it told me I have bf4 premium addition but as I try to go in it tells me I need to purchase dlc? But I will tell you what works their refund section works extremely well! I guess I will stick to Arma and insurgency for now

People bash you Origin but using you more and more and getting top tier support has lead me to really like it. I have no problem with you and steam sharing portions of my games library. For $5 a month and being able to play all the games though a sub. that's actually a pretty good deal. $5 to try all the games I might want out and then buy them later if I like them.

Nice advertisement, pretty decent deal depending on what is offered month to month. I've already invested in Steam (Over a hundred and fifty games apparently) and don't see the point of running two such services on my computer - nice to see the direct competition trying different things rather than the usual re-skinning (Which is a pointless pursuit unless you a superior catalogue).
Considering EA doesn't have all their titles on PC the value drops off some (Looking at you EA sports).
There are certain games you can't get on steam so why pay the full price when you can rent them for a month for like 5$
It's an interesting service for sure, but honestly I haven't bought a EA game on PC since they pulled out of Steam and haven't really felt the desire (Outside of Dragon Age Inquisition).
You could though, gather that 60 dollars a year and buy an unimaginable amount of games from Steam or Humble Bundle during sales.
Matthew Hurlbut as much that is true steam still doesn't have ea games and that is what makes the service great you can play ea games without paying full price and though currently the game vault is relatively small it'll eventually have a larger collection, u have to agree origin one upped steam on this and waiting to see valves response or answer to this
kiptelgat It'll definitely be interesting if they get a good portfolio of games inside of it - like a Netflix for downloading games (Which makes the requirement of Origin make more sense in that case).
At most, I could see signing up for a month catching up with all the games you've missed and dumping it afterwards. Pretty good use of 5 dollars.
