A documentary gotta be done on these guys! They played on almost everyone’s album in the 70, 80, 90s.

The good music must be harmony-rhythm and goodness. Not the trash of the heavy rock. God bless all the musicians of Koinonia. !

I've heard this bass tone from Abe, but didn't realize it was an 8-string bass. Wow, what a master!

Damn I remember seeing this when it was first broadcast and was especially blown away by the guitarist Hadley Hockensmith. I have always been a fusion nerd, especially guitarists, and followed the various session greats, but was unaware of Hadley at the time. Another session super group to check out which features some of the same members was Friendship led by Lee Ritenour.

Really good Funk/Jazz always gives me this great feeling that i can't quite explain. Especially when they do a powerful solo. I can feel that emotion they're putting into it and i love it. All great music can have this effect but jazz and funk do it the most for me for some reason
