I have to say the music you chose for your videos combined with the trail noise (maybe except the super rough sections 😉) puts me in a such a relaxed state. It's almost like meditation. Your videos are so awesome. I have watched so many of the past few months, thank you for all of your content.

This is also a great example of how different bikes handle the same difficult terrain. Especially for folks like us who have a hard time understanding different bike styles.
Great video man!! In my bucket list for sure. July 2021 I was in the place where you started the trail, leaving Crested Butte without my bicycle, then I saw this trail and “tried” to hike uphill to take a look, 10 minutes after that I was dying, my lungs were screaming for oxygen!! No I don’t smoke, I am from Texas!! How can I get the fitness to climb what you guys climbed?? 🥲
Excellent video. Headed to Colorado with someone who has never been in a couple of weeks. The Monarch Crest is on our wish list if the snow holds off long enough for us.
Ryan, you crack me up sir! Such a good positive person. I rarely comment on anything but feel the need to express that I love your videos. Keep up the good work!
Encouraging the local made product is the best thing to do on today's date 🍀 🚲 This day was Meeting wise people along the trail. The bike hombre had some memories, which were bothering him. Wishing him joy and more more smile.
Jeff cracks me up... Love his sense of humor. Awesome video as always Ryan. Nice to bomb the downhills on a light full suspension bike and let off a little steam! :)
Now that's what I'm talking about! Looks like it was a blast. Working on my biking friends to do the hut tour to Moab that you did last year, and this would be a nice addition to that one! You have had a great summer of riding (and pushing!). Looking forward to the next adventure, my friend!
That was really something Ryan. Awesome 👏 And I’m so glad that you two guys didn’t brake your neck, going so fast down hill trough some difficult parts of that trail. Cheers. J. 🙂
So fun to see it through your eyes Ryan!!! I've Enduro raced Greens, Foose, and Starvation. Epic is the word Happy Trails and plenty of trail magic buddy 👍

Just clearing out some financial rut I've been stuck in for some time, though next year will create a lot of new opportunities for me. So looking forward to do things myself for a change(hiking, biking, photography etc)

Hey Ryan...just rode Monarch this past Saturday (9/18) with several friends from here in ABQ. 4th time for me, 1st time for the other guys. Conditions were pretty good although we found the Rainbow trail to be pretty torn up in some places. Sure hope this winter brings a great snowpack as it seemed very dry. Thanks for making a video of this ride, I am sharing this video with family and friends who always ask me what these rides are like, your videos certainly help show what the MTB experience is like.
Love your stories, Ryan. Joel and I rode 100 (out and back) on the Virginia Capital Trail this week. Not a lot of technical, but man it's fun riding with my brother!
Ryan, that was so intense, I had to pause it and take a shot of tequila so I could continue to watch without getting a coronary or stroke, we are concerned about your well being cause we love you, man!
Återigen en jättebra vlog och tillsammans med dina andra vlogar från Colorado är just Colorado den stat jag vill åka till mest i USA. Planerar för 2022
One of my experiences on Monarch Crest is getting passed by Don McCLung (the lung) on the hard uphill right before it drops down to Foosies creek I believe (Right before your drone footage spot). He was on a single speed and he was nearly 65 years old while I was nearly 40.
Ryan. So fun to learn about the Monarch Crest Trail. Looks like full suspension was the right choice for this ride. Always fun to ride with a buddy! Fyi....Kevin F. and I met and rode the MN River Bottoms last night. We had a blast. He's a wild man.
Way cool! Love the downhill! Drove from chico CA to Pikes peak to make a run down on mt bike (illegally),,,then went to crested butte for 5 days. Then To Mammoth CA to race the Kamikaze! Fun Fun Fun.....the Hermosa creek trail above Durango is a great 22 mile downhill, more fun!................(Pikes Peak, you can hit 55mph and quick right off the top, rangers tried but never caught me!)
Man what an amazing ride! My wife and myself went to Colorado for the first time last year. It was when there was that big slide on 70 so we went down through Aspen and Leadville to get to Denver. What an awesome detour! I would love to MTB out there someday! Oh and btw that Reeb is the bike I want oh so badly!!!! Forget all the carbon bikes out there! Those guys make some amazing bikes! Metal for the win 🤘🏼

Then all the drone shots. How much 'editing/framing' do you do now when you're shooting? Or do you just shoot and deal with that in post? Anyways impressed by your commit to getting good shots.

No but I have seen a lot of video of cyclocross bike guys blasting it. I also frequently smile til the face hurts. I have muscular cheeks now.
