I think the title speaks for itself: my first ride back on one of my favorite trails of all time, and man am I stoked to get back to it a little later this season.
The Monarch Crest is generally ridden as a shuttle ride, but today I learned that running a solo out and back venture is also extremely fun! The trail just can do no wrong. From stunning vistas to sweet high alpine singletrack, the Monarch Crest deserves a spot on every riders bucket list.
