Hello my friends! I really hope you enjoy watching this video of one of the most beautiful places on the planet! It’s a long day out, but what’s better than peddling a bike all day? Have any of you done the White Rim? Or visited Moab?
@bob ragsdale We broke up :( We shared a lot of life beautiful experiences together in 12 months, but it was not meant for the long haul. So to answer your question, you won't be seeing her in upcoming videos.
Ryan. Amazing ride and video. Congratulations. In hindsight what would you change about your tires/ supplies/ gear/ etc to make this as lightweight a ride as possible?
So crazy how you ride under this blue sky and sunny day and don´t get soakead by sweat. at 15 celsius! Here in Brazil you'd be melting... keep sending all this great stuff!
I can’t wait to do that trail. We love Moab!!! Funny I’ve never ridden a bike there, my wife loves to hike there. She’s not the biggest hiker but when we go to the red rocks she’s like a mountain goat lol! Maybe this year I’ll get some riding in there. 100 milers are just such an amazing time on dirt. Feels like such an incredible achievement. As others say it Ryan, you have an incredible energy about you. Wish I could carry that with me more, so hard to be super positive all the time. On the other hand I guess it should be so easy to look at everything in such a positive way. Considering how blessed we really are. Gotta get that change in paradigm more often. Keep being awesome my friend. You ever in the Napa area and want to ride or want a place to crash for a night please reach out.
Awesome. I love how positive you are. So true, we can’t complain about a little hill. Today I replace a tire that I shredded from use on my surly lht. I am nearing 60 and u yu ok videos got me back on my bike. I have done 100 milers but have been down for awhile. Getting back in the saddle now. Thank you Ryan
Loved your message about "fill your heart with compassion and love for those who can't do this". Your humility, positive energy, and appreciation for nature inspires us all.
We did the same thing. 18 hr. Was a big event in my life. Dark from the Hogsback on. Thanks for taking me back. Nice piece of work. I remember everything you showed me. Must be burned in.
I'm an independent trucker and in 2005 I got a load to Alaska and saw a fatbike/snowbike in a cycle store and bought it. I rode it a few days later all over the sand dunes in winnemucca, NV and then spent 2 weeks in Moab. It was so amazing floating effortlessly on the sand and riding slickrock and the jeep trails. I go there several times every year since. Moab rocks!
Great video! Beautiful trail. We did part of it in 1992 as part of a 1 month bike tour in the SW. It was my first time in the area and I fell in love with the scenery and atmosphere in the desert, especially in evenings and at night. I’ve gone back several times for biking and hiking although I’ve not done White Rim again. I think we did the section by where you had lunch but can’t accurately remember now.

This looks amazing, I think I will suggest White Rim for a family ride. My brother (67) my sister (61) and my other brother (65) and myself(63) are all reaching retirement age and love to do this kind of stuff together...thanks for another inspirational segment of Duzer world

Thanks for putting your positive energy out there for others to enjoy - it definitely brings me joy watching these videos.
You have inspired me to "get out there" and if I could make videos 1/10 as good as yours, I'd be happy. I live in a place where it's always "Sunny and 72, with slight winds from the west" so it's not as scenic, but perfect for riding all year around. Thanks for another great video. Very inspiring.

Thanks for posting this video, it really helped as we did it this past Thursday and everyone one in our group(4 of us) finished it. 2 of us did it from the boat ramp at Mineral Bottom. We met the other 2 at the top of the Shafer trail, we were able to replenish food and water there, and then continue the journey. Such an amazing ride and experience!!!!

Nice Job. You made it extra challenging by the video and having to ride back on shots but I love the video for the detailed experience. I cannot get enough of the White Rim. Congrats on you and Matt. Hello my friend! Thanks for following for so many years. YES! I did put a new seat on the 1120, feels soooo much better. And as for Ali, we broke up. It was very sad, but we had to go our own ways
@@duzer Sorry to hear you and Ali are not together. Einstein discovered that when light impacts certain substances in the universe, electrons can be released. This phenomenon in physics is called the photoelectric effect. Those electrons can potentially join immediately with other atoms once they are free, or can dissipate and linger. The Sun's warm light will never stop shining on your lives and new energy will be generated. Best wishes to you both!
Ryan I would recommend you install a redshift suspension stem on your 1120. I put one on my 920 and it made all the difference in the world on less smooth terrain.
Beautiful views Ryan, fantastic canyons and echos! Loved the deep thought. I’m surprised you didn’t just fall over, climbing that hill at mile point 75. Green river looked awesome! Great ride Ryan

Top work Ryan, thank you for sharing. The landscape is simply breath-taking. I am telling you - 50 is the new 40. Well sometimes, you've got to do the old man stretching routine, but that's nothing.
Great job, quite an accomplishment. Like you said in the video you do miss out on a lot doing it in one day. I need to get out there and ride it again, not in one day though.
I love watching your channel. Stay free, my friend. All those people you talk about who aren’t able to do what you do, can’t because they’re resources are being used to buy useless crap marketed to the most irresponsible people in our population. The price of two designer handbags could buy a good bike and would do them more good. Your bike is never going to throw you out of a house you worked your butt off to buy, it’s just going to enable your freedom. Cherish it!
Awesome video! ...... Great editing! I had the pleasure of mountain biking the White Rim Trail with 4 friends in April 2006 when I was 52. We went at a much more leisurely pace than your ride and spent 6 days in the Canyon. One of those days was spent hiking to Upheaval Dome. That trip was one of the best experiences of my life!
Thanks for the video, I’m in Australia and booked to be there and ride the 5th October 2022. I’m 56 and an amputee and plan to ride the 100 miles in a day, do you have any advice on training before hand, food, tools and spares to take? Any advice will be gratefully received, loved the video.
OK Ryan, man, you are killing me! Last years RAGBRI ride got me convinced I needed to do that. Looked just too fun. Now this ride comes along, and granted I would take a bit longer to do it so I could enjoy the views and solitude, but the choice is gona’ kill me. I guess I need to flip a coin.
I love the White Rim, rode it on my motorcycle in 1 day, impressed you did it all on a bike. Your video ends when you're along the river, I remember some very sandy sections along there, did you climb up the switchbacks on the bike or did someone come down to pick you up, either way, still impressive. Canyonlands is one of my favorite places in the whole world, the views from the Island in the Sky, IMHO are way more amazing then the Grand Canyon. Thanks for sharing.

The Sun's warm light will never stop shining on your lives and new energy will be generated. Best wishes to you both!
wow! I love this. Thanks so much for sharing. Here's a a new energy being created!
Ryan I would recommend you install a redshift suspension stem on your 1120. I put one on my 920 and it made all the difference in the world on less smooth terrain.
I'll look into that!
I love this trail. Rode this many moons ago.
Nicool333 it’s the best
Awesome scenes Ryan... What a way to spend on a friends birthday...
sebastian kathi it was quite the birthday present
@@duzer I started following you last month ... The trail looks very much like the landscape here in Namibia..
@@nas6587 Thanks for following! Stay tuned for more! And wow, Namibia, I wanna go there someday!

Beautiful views Ryan, fantastic canyons and echos! Loved the deep thought. I’m surprised you didn’t just fall over, climbing that hill at mile point 75. Green river looked awesome! Great ride Ryan
Awesome place Ryan... how I would love to live where you live, sun blue skies just awesome... get some big washers on them bottle cages to Ryan. .. awesome vid gravel bike dreams 😉👍
I don't quite live in Utah, but close enough, so beautiful out there

Duzer never leaves without his electric shaver. 👍
TheJoePavlik you got that right!
Great job! The views are awesome.
Kevin Looney they are forever etched into my memories
Another awesome adventure ✌🏽 happy birthday Ryan 🥳 wish more and more amazing adventures to come 👍🏽
THANKS MY FRIEND! Planning more adventures now
Than you for making this video.
White time was the coolest spot I have ever been. Especially coming from canada
Top work Ryan, thank you for sharing. The landscape is simply breath-taking. I am telling you - 50 is the new 40. Well sometimes, you've got to do the old man stretching routine, but that's nothing.
Thanks! The landscape is what keeps me coming back to the Moab area, I love it!
Looking forward to riding this in a few weeks!
You’re gonna love it
Love the longer videos cause it means I get to enjoy more of the adventure! Good times!
awwww, thanks!
Great video! Congrats on completion😎😎😎
Thanks
This was beautiful! Nice work
Thanks
I get the same feeling when in Moab. I love it there!
Huntstyle it’s a special place
Great Video...fantastic scenery!
Thanks!
Great job, quite an accomplishment. Like you said in the video you do miss out on a lot doing it in one day. I need to get out there and ride it again, not in one day though.
Well done mother nature :-) , I love you! I love what she does, too! Just a joy to watch this Ryan!
Radritter Insulin thanks!! I’m a huge fan of Mother Nate, she’s my fav!
@@duzer We are nothing without her!
Cherish it!
Yeah that’s bull*** there’s a whole lot of people in this world that don’t buy designer handbags or bikes and can’t afford either.
Lovely my friend beautiful thoughts
Thanks for listening
@@duzer You are an inspiration- I have started with more bicycling too- I am 55 and now I bicyel 10-20 miles daily!
Finishing off with Hardscrabble. Much respect.
Man that a tough climb!
I'd love to hike to Upheaval Dome someday! There's also some slot canyons down there I wanna explore
What a fantastic video. I love your optimism. You had me smiling the whole time :-)
Thanks! I'm still smiling from that experience
Thanks for the video, I’m in Australia and booked to be there and ride the 5th October 2022. I’m 56 and an amputee and plan to ride the 100 miles in a day, do you have any advice on training before hand, food, tools and spares to take? Any advice will be gratefully received, loved the video.
Well done boys!
Thanks buddy!
Beautiful day. Thanks for sharing! Just wondering....why didn't you use the Priority 600 for the White Rim Trail?
bmanaudio the 600 is a great bike, but this terrain is too rough for it...calls for a mtn bike
Absolutely Brilliant!
What a great place nothing like that here in the boring UK
OK Ryan, man, you are killing me! Last years RAGBRI ride got me convinced I needed to do that. Looked just too fun. Now this ride comes along, and granted I would take a bit longer to do it so I could enjoy the views and solitude, but the choice is gona’ kill me. I guess I need to flip a coin.
Randy Jorgensen do both!!! :)
Boot we started the ride at the bottom of mineral bottom road, left the car there, so we didn’t have to pedal out in the dark.
Awesome! Keep up the good work, man. I “found” you during the govt shutdown and I’ve been a fan ever since.
Craig Mankowski thanks Craig!! Glad that something positive came out of that mess:) have a great weekend!
It is a joy that your not trying to lay down some heavy metal track to this video. Kudos to you.
Thanks, I try to keep it chill
Well done guys, awesome video with fantastic views
Those socks are awesome. Glad to see you making some more biking videos
Thanks for noticing, day of the dead colorado socks!! mom got them for me on Christmas!
Great achievement guys - especially Matt. I did 35 km today and I’m done
You just suck me right into your world no matter what I am doing or the mood I am in. Amazing cinematography, amazing, production, amazing subject material. You have got it figured out.
Thanks Jon! Appreciate it
Best way to celebrate birthday, well done.
I agree!!
Amazing and really inspiring!!!! Breathtaking landscape, remembers me my honeymoon in 2007... Hoping to come back there (from Italy) in a few years to celebrate my 50's birthday ... This time bikepacking!!! Thank you for this emotions!!!
Sounds like you had an amazing honeymooon! Thanks for watching!
