@@rackin9594 It's as safe as any other point in time. Nothing particularly special happening there, but watch out for pickpockets in the capital, as you would any other country. Try stay in the tourist zones in the capital if you can, and don't walk around late at night. The other areas like Antigua are really pretty and are considered pretty safe. Anywhere you find lots of tourists should be well policed. I visited in December and it was great.

As a Turkish who visited Tunisia several times and knows Tunisian people here in Türkiye, I really feel that Tunisians are identical to us and sometimes I feel that they are Turkish people who speak Arabic. I'm also sure that Tunisians who visit our country and interact closely with people here will feel that we are Tunisians who speak Turkish. Besides our similar flags, we're pretty much identical culturally and traditionally. I also discovered that there are many people in Tunisia who are from Turkish origin and you can spot it from their Turkish last names, and the opposite is also true because we also have Turkish people here who are from Tunisian origin and you can spot their Tunisian last names despite the difference of language. And the biggest surprise is that we literally also have a small village inhabited by Tunisians. It's called Tunuslar and the mayor is called 'Mahmoud Ben Atla
'. That's why I never felt like a stranger during my visits because Tunisians treat me like I'm one of them and we also share the same background. I hope to revisit again.

Nice place with friendly people. I visited Tunisia two times before and I honestly enjoyed interacting with the locals in different states in the country and I was lucky that I had my Moroccan friend who was fluent in Spanish and he did a great job translating. I made amazing conversations there about many stuff like culture and history and especially the Andalusian history of the country that also includes other countries in the region along with Spain. As a Spanish person I always was curious and fascinated by the Andalusian culture and the Muslim era of Spain. It's one of the reasons that make me feel close to the people of Tunisia, Morroco and Algeria. It's amazing how we still even have many words in our language that were originated from Arabic. One of the famous words is "Aceituna" which came from Arabic word "Azzaytuna" and it means olive. Which is a very popular term in Tunisia because the country is known for having so many olive trees and high quality olive oil.

@@loup8556 our Tunisian dialect has been and still evolving throughout the history, what I'm sure about is that we have added few words from Andalucia to our language from the Andalucians who came here, beside the Maloof and Jibba and Chechiya. Amilcar Barca took the Carthaginian troops with him to the Iberian peninsula and resided there for many years and Hannibal himself passed by there when was heading to Rome. So if there is some Tunisian words among the people there, maybe you can catch some of them among the castilians or the eastern tribes there. I truly don't know. As a Tunisian girl living in Germany, I can proudly say that Tunisia has more human rights than Germany (working wise). I have worked in both countries and noticed that women are equally paid as men in Tunisia. They do not ask you if you are married or willing to get married in Tunisia, where I have been asked that personal question in a job interview in Germany. They think of you as a waste of money when you have kids and apply for your maternity leave. Both countries are amazing though.

@@mahmoudsharafaldin9949 Muslims live peaceful here. ❤️ Ethnic Kazakhs are predominantly Sunni Muslims of the Hanafi school. Some Girls wear hijab, some are not. It depends. Personally I don’t, but it doesn’t show my level of faith. On friday most of the man (especially younger generations) go to the mosque for friday praying. With every year quantity of people who are fasting in Ramadan is growing. (This year the whole café/restaurants in Almaty were reserved for the week ahead😅)
Kazakhstan is officially a democratic, secular, unitary, constitutional republic with a diverse cultural heritage. So the country itself is not Islamic, kids in schools are not allowed to wear hijab. Girls in Hijab can not work at governmental places. But government is not against muslims, by contrast they support it. For example the President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev personally congratulated the whole country with Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr. So yeah 😊

I guess, based on my experience, I'd rank Muslim-majority countries like this in terms of how secular they feel:
    1: Albania
    2: Kosovo
    3: Azerbaijan
    4: Bosnia & Herzegovina
    5: Turkey

Of course racially we're a mix of everything just like all countries but culturally we're Arabs to the bones. And by the way the Arabic, Phoenician and Aramean cultures are all from the same roots and they're all Semitic cultures. If you even search about the oldest Arabic scripture you'll find that it was originated in levantine countries like Southern Syria and Jordan. Besides, Phoenician and Aramean identities are no longer valid and their languages didn't last, so it would make no sense if we identify ourselves with them officially. I'ts like Swedish people identifying themselves as Vikings today.
