As a Tunisian woman living here, I think Olfa is being a bit pessimistic. Some of what she said is true, but things are changing. I mean, the whole world is struggling economically, so we're not in the best position, but I truly believe Tunisia is heading in the right direction. we just need time !
Those sweets are actually called "makroudh", it's a semolina based cookie, stuffed with dates and soaked in syrup. On the other hand, samsa is a triangular shaped pastry made with brick sheet dough and filled with toasted and grounded almonds mixed with sugar and orange blossom water.
I would say try exercise to be able to get to sleep. Maybe some calming/sleeping teas. Reading helps me fall asleep and try to stay off the phone. My new job I have to use a computer all day and talk to people so it wears me out so I don’t have issues sleeping now.
Overwheling video about my beloved Homeland, thank you really, i just wanted to comment Olfa's point of view. Tunisian women won it's place in culture, economy society and in every aspect since the down of time and History knows it, olfa is exaggerating. You've been there and saw how free people are and how determined and strong Tunisia ladies are. Thank you.
if you ever come back to Tunisia you should definatly check out Djerba Island. It is located in the south and it is honestly just breathtaking, the beaches, the markets, and even the culture there are quite different than Tunis
im gonna dig deep into this, im an 18 year old tunisian boy and i live amongst the most urban areas and i also lived with rich people and ive had rich friends so i assume i know 80% of teenagers and their mindset, when olfa said that she had confidence in the new generation, i really lost it because at the moment 95% of teenager are lost and stand for nothing, most of us are having an identity crisis due to the european and american culture being spread through social media, most of us have no standards and just live and go with the flow, we have no plans for tomrrow because we barely think for ourselves because we are so brainwashed through social media.
It's just a teenagerhood era , when you grow up little bit (in your last 20's , 30's) you will become a "fully" Tunisian . So don't worry It's just a matter of time . We have all passed through this fluctuations !
I'm a 44 yo Tunisian, as a teenager we all had Identity crisis, influences from everywhere, with age and experience we go back to our root, our mother Tunisia, i watch every video about our beloved home land with wet eyes, there's no place like it in the whole world. I have faith in the new generation too. We have Tunisia blood we wont fall far from the tree
@@wallyk6114 Kinda agree, nothing wrong with western standards or values , or even taking a bit of it now and then . But diving too deep into an identity that's not yours really gets you lost . In conclusion , do what you and be what you want without deviating too much from who you are as a Tunisian . At the end of the day you'll go back to it and find nostalgia and a sense of belonging in everything that's Tunisian (hell i hated mezoued now i'm a big fan 😂)
I loved your vlog! Tunisia has so much more to offer beyond its capital city. You should consider exploring its coastal cities such as Hammamet and Sousse, as well as the far north and south regions.

Greattt video W elena W edit W video I love how you introduce Tunisie too the world keep going the good work ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you researching and showing all sides! 😍 The cookies/delights are called samsa, sooo delicious 🤤
@@omarripoll2468 Oh yes you are right!! 😃 It looked like samsa for me when I checked quickly!
Love this content. Come to south east Asia , Elena! We have amazing food. Hugs from Malaysia
I would say try exercise to be able to get to sleep. Maybe some calming/sleeping teas. Reading helps me fall asleep and try to stay off the phone. My new job I have to use a computer all day and talk to people so it wears me out so I don’t have issues sleeping now.
Such an amazing video ❤
Overwheling video about my beloved Homeland, thank you really, i just wanted to comment Olfa's point of view. Tunisian women won it's place in culture, economy society and in every aspect since the down of time and History knows it, olfa is exaggerating. You've been there and saw how free people are and how determined and strong Tunisia ladies are. Thank you.
Really an incredible journey #LittleMasisi.
Love from China 🇨🇳 ♥
突尼斯欢迎您 🇹🇳

what a visually stunning video 🇹🇳
I grew up in Tunisia 🇹🇳 that was a nice video ♥️
Lovely ❤❤ its nice of u to share the history of Tunisia
Sooooo cool! After spending 6 months in Morocco, I really want to visit Tunisia and the rest of North Africa!
if you ever come back to Tunisia you should definatly check out Djerba Island.
@Aymen Mohsni i wouldn't judge someone's opinion/perspective as wrong, but maybe olfa is being too hopeful, which is nothing new for us tunisians!
It's just a teenagerhood era , when you grow up little bit (in your last 20's , 30's) you will become a "fully" Tunisian . So don't worry It's just a matter of time . We have all passed through this fluctuations !
the problem comes from your entourage my friend, try to find the right people who are open and ambitious.
Soo happy to see you in my country I love you from Tunisia ❤️
