We don't care if he's Jewish or not, he would be treated warmly if he's not Israeli.
I used to live in Israel and at the same time visited the same places as you did (in 2000, but almost nothing changed, especially in the war museum!), maybe the fact I hadn't a camera helped, even throught sadly some Egyptians were quite hostile, but many others we were kind and open-minded. The Sinai peninsula is on the other hand populated with very welcoming people, never encoutered any problem of being living in Israel there. The last part with the kids is heart-warming and beautiful, כל הכבוד החי.
Regardless of opinions, i really believe that this is a very good video. It makes people think, very challenging. Its helps to think "outside the box" Thanks

This is a very sensitive subject in the Middle East, unfortunately. I met Israelis when I was in Brazil. I'm British but of Iraqi origin. When I told them this, they were reluctant to talk to me at first. But when they saw my kind human side, making them laugh and that I don't care about politics and religion, we bonded well. You're always going to find people who are kind and open-minded and those who are not. That's just the reality we live in.

Concerning Israel, the main issue is the Palestinian issue and the challenge for a divided Israeli government to find a solution which restores honor, freedom and land to the Palestinian people.
Settlements are an issue.
Restoration and compensation for Palestinian property taken by Israel is an issue.
Sadat and Begin are badly needed to solve the problem.
I fear that the problem will not go away until Israel makes some serious and very costly concessions to the Palestinians.
It was the UN that divided up Israel.

This doesn’t really affect Palestine, but I’ve heard (don’t really have a source rn unfortunately) that the Egyptian government is working to erase antisemtism in their education curriculum and acknowledge Jewish indigenaity to Israel. Hopefully the future is one where Israelis and Egyptians will be taught not to hate each other and maybe even live together. We can hope the same for other neighbors too. And much progress has been gained between Israel and other Arab states, even if there are unfortunately still some hot rivalries and the conflict with Palestine tragically persists. I try to stay optimistic and sympathetic personally.

I've got to be honest, having lived most of my life in the middle east it would be of no surprise that i haven't met a lot of Jews, especially from Israel. While we are not in the best of times and currently in between a war, your blog was a breath of fresh air. I have always maintained that people to people contacts are very important. If we meet each other more, we perhaps might find there are more similarities than differences among us.
