One blessing I made in the journey with my health is getting to know Brandon and Shelva Strickland. Truly wonderful people from my birth country of Canada. Brandon, on his RUclips channel, explores abandoned places and I watch him a lot as another form of escapism from the health set backs and being torn apart by my illness and medical tests/ surgeries.
Brandon’s videos remind me of a forgotten time where people were different. A time where life was better and human beings seemed kinder. No cell phones, no internet and a better way of life. His videos remind me of home when my parents were alive and I was a little girl. He tells the stories of lost memories and lost homes that were once loved. ‪@BrandonAbandoned‬
