@@thelasthvwarrior thanks my cousin did a great job singing it. My mother, Granfather, brother. Aunt and Uncles were all career military and sadly today too many take Stolen Valor they do not deserve and use it for attention or to make a Dollar. The true heroes are the people who truly fight for our freedom and not sports heroes or phonies. Thank you for your service. ❤️

@ unfortunately I never served. My Dad and many other family members did serve. Warriors is the mascot name of my small high school in East Tennessee, Happy Valley. I was part of a group that researched all Alumni that were KIA/MIA from WW2, KOREA, VIETNAM & DESERT STORM. We created Individual TRIBUTE PAGES on the School’s Website for each of these (14) Alumni and placed a granite monument with the names inscribed in front of the School. To date, Happy Valley High is the ONLY Public school in Tennessee to have honored their fallen military alumni on their school’s website!

@ that’s awesome about what you did at your high school. Ya sadly my mother passed when I was 11 and I never got to serve either because I was diagnosed with the same genetic auto immune illness that ended her life when she was 50 ( I was an accident..lol). She was not diagnosed until after she passed with the auto immune illness that caused her cancer. Tennessee is an awesome state 3 of my favorite people, including Bob Crisp, who helped me with my music live in. So many forget today that the ones who serve are why we have the freedoms we do in this country. Too many take it for granted and worship actors, musicians, politicians, sports people etc while ignoring the ones fighting for us. They don’t understand other countries are not so lucky and our freedoms come from our service members.

@@MrOvp thank you my friend. Only 2 more days of postings left and then back to Doctors etc. it was a good escapism and a year worth of songs posted in a couple weeks. This is my favorite song I ever wrote, still feeling invisible and it’s so hard taking this journey out of the shadows.
