Bob Crisp is a drummer and has played throughout the USA over his lifetime. His first big appearance was on WEBN radio in Cincinnati, Ohio live just when he was 15 years old. From there he has been from Ohio to California to Tennessee playing music. His experiences started when he was in 5th grade and the band director taught all schools from elementary to high school. He was unable to play a wind instrument and he suggested drums. He not only taught him for years but also taught him on his off time. Bob learned everything from, orchestra, marching, jazz, musical plays, drum competitions and so much more. Bob is ever grateful to him. he and his assistant always told him when he thought it was perfect, " you can do even better than that." and give him more complicated music to play.
When he was in 9th grade, Bob was picked to do a marching drum solo ‪@TheOhioStateFair‬ from of a few thousand people in a marching band competition.. While wondering why he did not pick the seniors or upper classmate drummers, Bob was honored, terrified, but had all the support. This was the sole foundation of where he is today with music.
Bob did however teach himself how to play the drum set on his own. Bob actually played his first gig without ever sitting on a drum set prior to this.
The Drum set in all his pics are the drums he had in 1980’s . Bob has kept them in great shape and they have very little wear on them from the care he has given them over the many year. They still sound great and very powerful and he still gets comments wherever I]he goes with them today.
His Name is bob But they call me B-O-B. He obtained the name from a girlfriend i had in Columbus Ohio In 1983. The name has stuck with him for years and its what he likes to be called. B-O-B.
Blessed to call B-O-B my friend!
